This soap lathers incredibly well. It moisturizers great, The Problem is that it has No Scent! I ordered it thinking it was going to be overpowering after reading reviews but it is not fragrant at all. I thought maybe I was getting sick and losing my sense of smell but nobody else can smell it either. So that sucks. I will try one more time as I really like the lather and is so far great on sensitive skin but I need to smell good! I will try a different flavor though, no more of this spiced rum crap! If you want a soap that is basically unscented this is for you. Maybe it is just old I don't know. Probably not the most popular scent.
I bought this soap due to the large number of great reviews it had. I don't know what I was expecting, and maybe my expectations are off somehow, but I didn't think there was anything special about the soap. The scent was fine but basically it's just a bar of soap like any others. In fact, it reminds me a lot of the little bars of soap you'll find in most 3-5 star level hotels. It probably doesn't dry out my skin as much as, say, Irish Spring, but it's not nearly as moisturizing for my skin as Dove.
I bought this as an alternative to the more expensive St. John's Bay soap but I'm very disappointed. The soap is not as solid as the St. John's Bay and is more like a cheap hotel soap in that it dissolves very, very quickly. The scent is ok so no complaints there but this will not hold up as long as you expect for the price.
