Heavy on the dust, but it's very absorbent, and is finer grain than some of the other litters out there, so you actually get proper clumps instead of just saturated silt. Better quality than most litters you'll find at Walmart or your local grocery store.

The litter itself is WONDERFUL - Very good value...However, as this product does weigh 40 lbs...it shouldn't come in a BAG! It should come in a BOX - with handles! It would be SO much more convenient if they changed the packaging!

I've been using this litter for a few months now. The pros are that it's virtually dust free and the price is right.
Cons are:
- tracking is terrible, my cats track it all over the house including the furniture. I'm always having to sweep up large amounts of litter around the box and litter mats are overwhelmed by the amount of tracked litter, which goes to waste. Another problem is that my longer haired cat ends up with gluey gobs of wet litter stuck to his feet, those end up on my furniture as well.
- odor control is negligible. When one of my cats poops, the stench is overpowering and fills my apartment. I notice they now often leave their poop lying on top of the litter without trying to bury it. I never had this problem with other brands of litter. I'm guessing they don't like digging in the larger granules of this litter. So when I smell that eye watering reek, I go for the air freshener and my long handled litter scoop to bury the poop.
- packaging is a horror. This litter comes in a very thick outer box, which is mummified in glue. To open it I have to chisel a flap on the box using a wrecking bar and a hammer. It takes at least 10 minutes, like chiseling a block of marble. Then I have to throw my back out rolling the box on its side so I can dump the heavy bag out. They should just package it in a reusable/recyclable bucket like other litter manufacturers.
- Clumping is not all it's cracked up to be, especially for a litter robot. The clumps have a gummy, wet consistency and they stick to the sides of the box like glue. This is a problem for the litter robot because it has a rotating drum that sifts the litter and dumps the clumps into a drawer. The clumps stick to the inside of the box/drum until they get huge and heavy, which wears out the motor of the robot and the rubber liner on the bottom, every time it rotates. Plus the clump is so big that the cats can't avoid stepping on it and getting gobs of litter stuck to their feet. The sludge from the clumps coats the inside of the litter drum. Then when they finally drop off, one huge clump trips the sensor in the drawer, it "thinks" it's full, then the robot stops operating and the box gets overfilled with waste and stinks. This often happens at night so it doesn't get fixed until the next day. I have to shake down the drawer several times per day due to the false alarms caused by oversized clumps.

After a few months of this (and another morning of finding a stinking, stalled litter box with a drawer containing three clumps) I've grown tired of dealing with this litter. I've read good things about crystal litter for litter robots, so I'm giving that a try.

First time I order the price was okay. One month later the price has doubled. Come on Amazon. Suck the customer in then double the price. Just plain greedy. BUT the litter is great. My beef is about the Amazon price. Half the price at Pet Valu.

Looking for the best of best when it comes to cat litter? well look no further, as Precious Cat Dr Elsey's Ultra Cat Litter is the best of the best. I have tried loads & loads of different litters, wanting to make my life easier when cleaning out the cat box, that had the best odor control, but also a cat litter that my cat would also enjoy using. Since using this litter I have NEVER had to clean the box out again, I use a jumbo hooded litter box, I pour a generous amount of litter into the box & hey bingo all urine is turned into hard lumps & the poo's are also wrapped in cat litter, so all I have to do is scoop out the urine & poo into a bag & hey presto throw it away, if need be, top up the litter, is important to keep a generous amount of litter in the box as this enables easier removal of cat wastes. I am a hard person to please, if I write up a review, then you have to know I have found THE BEST OF THE BEST ........ If I could give this product a 100 stars, then I would, this is, in my onion, the best cat litter on the market.

Bought as was looking for a cat litter that came highly rated. This did but I wasn’t a fan. The litter itself has a strange smell which gets stronger when it is used. The litter also turns REALLY hard when it gets wet (like concrete) and makes it difficult to clean. Tracks everywhere. And if it gets wet the clay dissolves and leaves dusty marks everywhere. Going back to CatSan

I have been using Multi Cat Litter by Clean and Tidy and they have changed the "recipe" as its been so dusty lately I haven't been able to use it due to my Asthma.
So I was looking for a new one and saw the reviews on this one and thought id give it a go, though a touch expensive for me, but im so pleased I did.
It clumps all wet waste like a little rock and I hardly have any loose grains when cleaning it. I have also noticed this has lasted twice as long as the other too. I have 2 trays but my boys and used this in the 1 tray to begin with and filled it generously and I have not had to top it up at all. The second tray is using the last of the Clean and Tidy and have topped that up nearly once a day. Will use this all the time now.
No dust
No paw prints
No smell
No waste.
Would highly recommend this

-it tracks everywhere! My bubba sleeps on my chair sometimes and his litter box is 2-3 meters away - Ive noticed some of the litter on my chair so clearly its sticking to his paws.
-I have 2 x large litter boxes and Ive had to use 2/3rds of this litter in order to fill it up. This is the first time I havent emptied out the litter box, given it a good clean and topped it up with fresh litter weekly, otherwise I would of used it all in less then 2 weeks :( I have no choice but to look elsewhere
-Its heavy, especially after my bubba has done a pee. I have filled up the litter box to a min of 5cm but it still clays at the bottom so I have no choice but to scrap it out. Surprised my scooper hasnt broken yet.
-After switching to wood pellets (so much cheaper!), I find that it doesnt hid the smell as well as I initially thought it did. Now i use cats best oko

FYI: I read somewhere that clay based litter isnt good for a cats lungs (best to do your research)

I came over this product when I first got my own cats(Bengals) and started to read up about RAW food. I visited a few great pages but this one veterinary page where she explained why RAW is truly the best way to go for a healthy cat, she also talked about litter and problems a lot of people may experience.

First reason this litter was picked is because it DUSTS a lot less than other litters, like for example World's Best Cat Litter. So after having used World's Best Cat Litter and wasn't too impressed by the poor clumping I decided to go for this one. And let me tell you, this thing is like cement! But, in a good way!

The thing is, when cats go to the litter box, and when they push the litter around, it generates a lot of dust. The dust it generates is not good for your cats lungs, and as such this litter is great. It dusts very little compared to other clumping litters.

If you are buying this litter, make sure you put a really thick layer of it, this litter is like cement. If the pee reaches the bottom it will be hard to get off. Buy a sturdy litter scoop! If you let the pee dry up for a while, it will get dry pretty quick, and then it is it's super easy to clean. It really clumps perfectly, and it never falls apart like it does with other cat litters.

It may take a while to get used to this litter and to learn how to best use it, but this litter is better than TWBCL, it is a lot more gentle on your cats lungs and doesn't fall apart!
