4.0 out of 5 starsNot great for REAL use - excellent for students

In my University RMT program, we have to take blood pressure fairly often, particularly in our practicum clinic. It's also a factor in certain practical exams.
For practicing purposes, the Primacare fits the bill. The velcro/tubing are decent quality, and, most importantly, everything works. The weak link is the stethoscope. This is where they really cheaped out. You can absolutely get a proper reading off of it, but it's clumsy at best. My advice is to not hold directly on the back metal portion, as you'll hear scratching noises that'll completely mess you up.
Can you get accurate readings off of it? Absolutely. Would I recommend it for clinical use? Absolutely not.
•• Conclusion ••
Overall, I consider this a great bargain for students who need to practice but will not require daily, clinical use out of it.
