Directions

Recommended Feeding Amounts: Give 20–39 lb. adult dogs 2 treats per week. Give 40–54 lb. adult dogs 3 treats per week. Give 55+ lb. adult dogs 4 treats per week.Feeding Instructions: Feed as a treat to your adult dog. This product is a treat and is not intended to be fed as a meal. The caloric intake from treats should not exceed 10% of a dog's total daily caloric requirement. If treats are given, the amount of food should be reduced accordingly. Monitor your dog to ensure treat is adequately chewed prior to swallowing. This chew snack is not suitable for puppies under one year of age or adult dogs under 20 pounds. Feed on an easy to clean surface.Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.

My dogs seemed to enjoy these. I thought they were a good choice til my standard dachshund almost choked to death. The chew was just the right circumference to completely block her throat and since it was wet and full of slobber it was difficult to remove. She's 12 and this is the first time she's choked on an edible treat so it could just be a freak occurence. I'm glad I was in the room when it happened cause she was not able to dislodge the treat herself. Obviously she couldn't cry out for help with her throat completely blocked and if I'd been on another floor I'm pretty sure that would have been the end for her. Would definitely recommend watching your pooches while they consume these in case they run into similar trouble. I won't buy them again due to their shape and size. Gonna stick to those star shaped Denta Life chews as they would be much less likely to completely block the airway and based on their shape would be easier for me to remove from the mouth/upper throat in an emergency.

NOR SHOULD THEY BE SOLD/CONSUMED!!
Why add sugar as an ingredient to these dog treats?
Dogs should not have sugar!
Dogs will eat these without sugar added or needed!
Purina should pay all your dogs vet cost due to diabetes in a class action suit against them
Did the last $32 million they had to pay out not better educate the manufacture(s) ????

For context: My dog is a super chewer. He finishes most chews in seconds. In under an hour, he can finish a 10-inch long, 1-inch thick rolled rawhide stick.

My dog is not super interested in this bone, but he enjoys chewing on it, and it lasts him about 20 minutes. The first quarter of that time or so, he's guarding it so others won't take it. Once he gets going on it, though, he enjoys it.

That makes it better than hundreds of other bones I've tried.

I have three dogs who all love bones, but one of them is getting old and seems to half swallow them and throw them up. I decided to get a bag of these so I can give him one of them when the other two have bones, to stop him being too whiney.

They don't last too long; nothing lasts too long with Australian Cattle Dogs, but they keep him happy and give him something to chew on for a while.

They are the best thing I have found for the price, I'd certainly recommend them.
