Being from England & now living in the USA I bought this to read to & educate my little one about the Queen. From start to finish gives the history of Queen Elizabeth II from being a little girl growing up with her sister Margaret, to the present day. Great illustrations! Lovely book.

A true Queen of England!

We were amazed at the subtle way the writer described Queen Elizabeth II, without dropping too many names. Queen Elizabeth is a living icon, binding her monarchy to England’s majesties.

Informative and Engaging

The book was so informative on Queen Elizabeth II. It introduced some really important concepts like duty and service. The illustrations are beautiful. We have two daughters so I appreciated the emphasis in the beginning on both Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret.

Cute but very innocent version of The Crown
Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2022Verified Purchase
This was cute. A very edited version that is suitable for a younger audience who aren't aware of the many scandals of the House of Windsor, but it may insult the intelligence of older kids who watch The Crown with their parents. I didn't find that the illustrations looked much like real people. It seemed a bit like it was rushed into publication in time for the Jubilee. Little girls who like princess stories will like it. I wasn't super impressed. But it was nice.
