Reading is a passion that born from childhood, thanks above all to parents who love culture and reading, that love to transmit their passion for books to their children. Here at Funny Learn Play, we offer a wide range of books for young kids to start learning and to become passionate readers. All our books meet the following standards.
They are based on topics that children like. When choosing a book for your child, in fact, you need to focus on stories that meet their passions. You should ask yourself, for example, which are the toys that they most require you and try to find out which book can capture their imagination.
They are full of amazing pictures. Quality illustrations are essential for children. They help keep their attention on the book and increase their concentration period. The best children's books from our collection have illustrations that tell the story, its details and bring the characters alive. They inspire imagination and help children to represent in their mind what words can only describe. The illustrations are capable of extending the story beyond the text itself and give your children a better experience.
They have a positive end. Regardless of how a book ends, with a twist, with a moral or a humorous joke, the important thing is that it stimulates in the child continuous questions that lead him to read something of the same kind and to continue to imagine the universe of which he just read about. A book must leave a smile to the child, is one of the first rules to make them fall in love with reading. At Funny Learn Play we put a lot of emphasis on this and we always give our books an amazing end.
They teach a lesson. There are millions of things that can be learned through books. Fiction books can also be used to teach children. For example, the story of a boy walking away from the zoo can teach the importance of being close to a responsible adult. Stories can strengthen the concepts of self-esteem. They can expand children's knowledge about the world around them. Each of our book is different from the other and can subtly reinforce numerous positive lessons.

In all it was OK. I helped him along, so he knew what to do… but there are definitely better reading resources out there.

1. The coloured pictures on the front cover are misleading as the pages inside are black and white.
2. Paper quality is very poor. Being a workbook my amateur son, who is just learning to write can't answer the questions without imprinting on the next pages.
3. It is a comprehension book and in spite of the guarantee I was appalled to find spelling as well as grammar mistakes. This is so unbelievable that I'm compelled to attach a picture as proof of the same. ("held" in place of "help" and "too" in place of "to").

I would say that this book is good for 1st graders struggling with reading comprehension but it's also good for summer work for your Kindergartener moving to 1st grade to get a taste of what they'll ve doing the next year.
