I enjoyed the story line, every young girls dream but most important it was educational and information and facts about riding and care for horses especially rehabilitating rescue horses were correct. Good read

BEST HORSE BOOK IN THE HISTORY OF HOSE BOOKS!!!!!
Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2020Verified Purchase
Rescue horse is very interesting, unpredictable, inspiring story and I simply couldn't put it down! It has a lot of ups and downs that where incredible! Shelby Davis has really inspired me to pursue hunter and volunteer at my stable as fast as I can. It has very descriptive language and is good for an age group of 8-10. Rescue horse is an incredible story and you would be mistaken not to read it! :)

but I enjoyed this book very much

I am 56 years old so I'm not the target audience, but I enjoyed this book very much. It is optimistic and kept my interest and I think would be very enjoyable or girls that love horses. The main character is likable and the story is believable.
The only thing I would change, especially since this is for junior riders, would be to show a picture of a rider wearing a helmet on the cover.

Great, wholesome book and sweet story
Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2015Verified Purchase
Great, wholesome book and sweet story! Any girl raised around horses will be able to relate to this story and the events that surround being part of a barn. Even girls who have never been on a horse and have only dreamed of them will enjoy reading this book. It will bring them into the horse world and leave them with a better understanding of the horse lifestyle. Horse terminology is explained in the book, so even if you're not well versed, you will not be lost. I tend to only finish books I truly enjoy and I wanted to keep reading and find out what happened to the characters. The author supports several horse charities...another reason to purchase this book. I'm an adult and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I highly recommend!

Great book for a horse lover
Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2021Verified Purchase
The book was perfect for my 10 year old daughter who rides Arabians. She related and has her own dreams of owning her own horse one day. My only disappointment is that we are unable to find other books in the series.
