The perfect epoxy resin for any kind of projects requiring molds

When using epoxy resin with molds, you want to make sure that you have the right epoxy resin that won't damage your molds. Our Art & Craft resin is the perfect product to use with many kinds of molds.

Our Art & Craft epoxy resin is easy to work with and is perfect for beginners and experts!

Whether you use epoxy resin as a hobby or as business, we are confident that our epoxy resin will meet your needs.

Measure

With gloves on, pour equal amounts of resin (A) and hardener (B) into a mixing cup. Ex.: 250ml (A) with 250ml (B).

If measuring by weight, use mixing ratio 100(A):90(B). Ex.: 400g (A) with 360g (B).

Mix

Stir both parts slowly by hands for 4-5 minutes. Make sure to scrape the sides while stirring. Once done, you have around 30 minutes of working time.

Pour

Pour the product into your mold/on your project. DO NOT scrape the resin out of the container, just dump it and leave the remaining material in the container.

Tip: After pouring, you can quickly pass a blow torch a few inches over the resin to pop all the extra air bubbles.

Wait

Depending on the thickness of your project, the curing time can take up to 60 hours. The thinner it is, the longer it takes to cure. If you need to do an additional pour, you can do do so between 6 to 12 hours after the last pour. If you wait longer than that, you will need to sand your project with some 180 or 220 grit sandpaper before doing an additional pour.

We only use Magic Resin in our pieces and their customer service is amazing! This new product by Magic Resin is amazing - it flowed well and cured crystal clear. Being able to pour a half inch without micro bubbles and still have it set in 24 hours? I won't look back!

This was a quick test piece, solely to test the bubbles so we got a bit messy with fuzz and a smudge- but look at that clarity!

Hello fellow resin users, I have included a few photos to show results using Magic resins Art and Craft resin formula. Unfortunately I do not have a clear example but I can assure you that this resin comes out glass like! Super clear and shiny! Usually not so great reviews are from people who do not have experience with resin and had a bad outcome, but this resin is great for beginners with 1:1 ratio measuring, the viscosity is in between low and medium, its perfect imo. I have used the Table top as well deep pour from Magic resin with great results but they hit a home run with this formula, its my go to resin for most of my projects. Very minimal odor certainly not offensive, easy mixing and pigments dissolve nicely no lumps, very generous work time up to 45mins if conditions are perfect (work time is very important to me, great for learning new techniques and not feeling rushed before curing starts). I usually have my room temp around 75 degrees, hardly any bubbles if mixing is done right (not vigorous) and be patient...most bubbles will rise to the surface and you can hit it with some torching/heatgun. There are sooo many resins on the market and it can be very overwhelming knowing what to purchase but you will not be disappointed with this purchase, plus if you order on their site you can collect points for future savings ;) Another bonus is you get pigments, cups, gloves and stir sticks to get you going, not many companies doing that. Did I mention affordable for great quality? (Shhh, dont tell them ;) ) One last comment is the customer service is beyond my expectations! Eric is super awesome and very quick at responses to your questions/concerns. What are you waiting for? It’s definitely more affordable than the other brands, and being a working artist great deals are very, very important to me :) I don’t mind the quicker setting time at all. My paintings are usually dry to the touch after as little as 8 hours.

This is my 4th time ordering this resin from Magic Resin and I'm never going back to any other brand! I make sculptures, art, coasters, jewelry, trays, etc etc and this one is the best resin I've tried.

For me, clarity is so important. I made this crystal just to show how clear it is (the clearish pieces underneath were with another resin and there are loads of bubbles). It's almost impossible to get a perfectly clear crystal because it's hard to pop the bubbles inside the small molds, but this resin clears itself almost completely! I love the working time and how well it blends with mica powders and inks. It's virtually odorless and for me has the perfect working consistency. It's reliable no matter what project I'm doing, and the quality is consistent. It adheres perfectly to additional layers and it's always virtually clear.

It cures hard and can be removed from molds in a reasonable time. This resin is excellent quality and I'm looking forward to ordering and creating more successful projects! I would recommend this resin for all experience levels.

Omg. I’m new to resin but also it’s expensive so I didn’t want to waste money on bad products so I really did my research and landed on this one. I’m in absolute love! The resin is great to work with, really beautifully clear resin hardly any bubbles and it came with a few colours of mica powder that I didn’t even know were going to be included as well as two fairly large measuring cups. Unfortunately one of the cups did not survive shipping but I was still pleasantly surprised. Definitely going to be purchasing much much more, this resin is beautiful in every way.

Bubble-free but...

It's fantastic as far as having no problem bubbles in your pieces. However, with that being said, I have to say that I won't order this resin again. I've ordered it twice and twice there was some kind of filmy-looking substance on the top of the mixed resin, you can see it when you look from certain angles in the cup and at the molds. Unless you take something to remove that film while it's freshly poured (which is considerably frustrating and time consuming), then it causes a slightly cloudy effect on the finished piece. That's not an issue if you're using colors, but I create using a lot of clear. So, that's a big problem for me. After seeing it with the first gallon I ordered, I thought maybe I'd gotten a bad batch so I ordered another gallon. It's the same as the first. Either there's contaminants inside the bottles during production, or there's contaminants in the resin itself.

I’ve used epoxy resins for decades, but it’s only recently that I’ve been using clear epoxies along with dyes and mica powders as part of my woodworking, using them to fill cracks and voids. This resin has a lot going for it- it’s slow curing, which gives more working time, a harder final set, and more time for bubbles to rise. It’s very clear, and takes a good polish with 2000 grit and buffing compound. The price is high compared to some other resins, but this is a very small quantity. I imagine it might come down in larger amounts.
