Highly Recommend - Great Resin, Great Company

We only use Magic Resin in our pieces and their customer service is amazing! This new product by Magic Resin is amazing - it flowed well and cured crystal clear. Being able to pour a half inch without micro bubbles and still have it set in 24 hours? I won't look back!
This was a quick test piece, solely to test the bubbles so we got a bit messy with fuzz and a smudge- but look at that clarity!

I tried this new resin as I loved their original formula but this one I'm having challenges with.. after mixing to direction and my humidity isn't high in my studio.. I find even after 2 flood coats it forms a film or a haze. Even after checking after curing about an hour it was doing this. Not sure if I got a bad batch but disheartening nonetheless. I sanded my piece and tried another flood good with the same haze like result. I won't be trying this formula again sadly. I love their original formula.

Hello fellow resin users, I have included a few photos to show results using Magic resins Art and Craft resin formula. Unfortunately I do not have a clear example but I can assure you that this resin comes out glass like! Super clear and shiny! Usually not so great reviews are from people who do not have experience with resin and had a bad outcome, but this resin is great for beginners with 1:1 ratio measuring, the viscosity is in between low and medium, its perfect imo. I have used the Table top as well deep pour from Magic resin with great results but they hit a home run with this formula, its my go to resin for most of my projects. Very minimal odor certainly not offensive, easy mixing and pigments dissolve nicely no lumps, very generous work time up to 45mins if conditions are perfect (work time is very important to me, great for learning new techniques and not feeling rushed before curing starts). I usually have my room temp around 75 degrees, hardly any bubbles if mixing is done right (not vigorous) and be patient...most bubbles will rise to the surface and you can hit it with some torching/heatgun. There are sooo many resins on the market and it can be very overwhelming knowing what to purchase but you will not be disappointed with this purchase, plus if you order on their site you can collect points for future savings ;) Another bonus is you get pigments, cups, gloves and stir sticks to get you going, not many companies doing that. Did I mention affordable for great quality? (Shhh, dont tell them ;) ) One last comment is the customer service is beyond my expectations! Eric is super awesome and very quick at responses to your questions/concerns. What are you waiting for? Easy resin to work with! The part a and part b were very easy to measure and mix with minimal bubbles. Pouring was easy and the consistency was ideal. The items this came with the set is a great bonus for anybody starting in resin art.

For me, clarity is so important. I made this crystal just to show how clear it is (the clearish pieces underneath were with another resin and there are loads of bubbles). It's almost impossible to get a perfectly clear crystal because it's hard to pop the bubbles inside the small molds, but this resin clears itself almost completely! I love the working time and how well it blends with mica powders and inks. It's virtually odorless and for me has the perfect working consistency. It's reliable no matter what project I'm doing, and the quality is consistent. It adheres perfectly to additional layers and it's always virtually clear.
It cures hard and can be removed from molds in a reasonable time. This resin is excellent quality and I'm looking forward to ordering and creating more successful projects! I would recommend this resin for all experience levels.

Minor tip: easiest way to get 1:1 mix per volume is to weigh each solution in same container (starting with sol. B). However, you’ll notice that a gallon of solution A is heavier than a gallon of solution B. So you have to weigh your solutions accordingly. Solution A is 1.1 times heavier than solution B. E.g. if you start with 150g of solution B, than add 150g + 15g (165g) of solution A, so you end up with a 1:1 mix per volume. In that example, you’ll end up with a total combined weight of 315g.
It can be really hard to measure the volume of those solutions on graduated cups, as each solution are very viscous. Just get yourself a kitchen scale (~$10) and do it by weight. It’s more reliable than trying to eye-ball it on a graduated cup 🙂

I let it sit for 15 minutes and all the bubbles are gone another 5 minutes for it to get to the proper temp. However you have to work a little faster with this resin. Which is ok for me as I have no issues mixing more then one batch when I need to. It hardens fairly quick but can still be a little soft. I like to wait a day or 2 to clean up any defects. If you don’t mind waiting 24 hours this is a very good product. With a nice shiny finish

I’m glad I did: the extended working time meant I could take care of stray dust or air bubbles (from some spots I didn’t preseal as well), and the epoxy would still self-level rather than show my corrections. I coloured it only using the white and black powder in the kit (bonus!) and some opaque white pigment. Two batches, one white, one light grey were poured together at the last minute so they would gently mix and marble on the floor itself. The photo doesn’t do it justice, it looks like a frozen pool of glassy grey swirls. The real proof of quality is in the uniformity: I didn’t have to torch the surface for bubble removal (except the couple above), and it is almost clear of fish-eyes(indentations), the two in this photo were found to be due to two large dust specks that snuck in through ventilation. Don’t be fooled by the ‘Arts & Craft’ name, this might be their most versatile epoxy yet.

I didn’t want to spend a premium on specialized floor epoxy, and I’ve had great experiences with Magic Resin through my trials and errors—and successes too. Initial batch I bought I under rated it as I was having difficulties getting good results ..this is my second order and now that I'm more comfortable with it I'm getting more success ..so I feel the product is acceptable but experiment a bit with small projects before taking on something bigger and you will get better results sooner

I'm a beginner and I've had so much problems with this resin that I actually give up trying I have tried different molds and multi layers and everything I have done the resin doesn't set properly. I have the exact same amount of each I mix for exactly 5 mins and I don't scrap the sides when pouring in and I have tried for just clear resin and no matter what I do it doesn't work!!!!

This product exceeded my expectations, this is the fourth epoxy resin I have tried and it is my favourite.
It mixed well, love the 1:1 ratio and very few micro bubbles.
I added mica powders and paste to it and both mixed extremely well.
An excellent product, I will definitely be buying more.
