We bought a house in July that had been vacant for a year. At the end of August the septic was full. We had it pumped out and they said there was a lot of back-flow from drain field and no good bacteria. Suggested excavation. $$. We didn’t think too much about it and carried on until the beginning of November when it was full and leaking into our basement. We’ve had to pump our septic Twice in November. We had a lot of rain. Again they suggested excavation and also made us aware that due to the lot size our drain field was small and probably needed replaced. I called the health department to find out what they could tell me. They confirmed that due to the lot size the drain bed was approved with a shorter length than normal for the house size. He also advised we did not have a finger system but a drain bed. I explained what we were experiencing and he agreed that it sounded as if our drain bed had failed and needed replaced. We did research on it. Found a video on YouTube which led us to this product. We read good reviews about this product. We bought this product and the Green pig suggested in the comments and YouTube. We used green pig to restore the good bacteria. We’ve used two bottles of this product since Nov. Not long after we put the first one in the tank over flowed and had to be pumped. After they pumped it the back-flow was black water. We thought it might be working because prior to that the back flow had been clear water every time. We ordered the 2nd bottle. Since the last pump and 2nd bottle we had a lot of rain. A month has passed and the level in the tank is good. We will continue to order this product and use it. I truly believe it is healing our damaged drain field.

We had been told that we needed to replace our septic drain fields. I had the tank pumped and before it filled, I used a pressure washer hose to blast for the tank to the distribution box. Then purchased this product. I used it once a mont for three months. We have noticed a vast improvement in our drain field. Before you can see where only one of the three drains were working about 25% and after a couple of months all three drains are 100%. Now after 6 months the entire mound system seems to have been restored. This product worked for me and has at least delayed having to replace my drain field. Very thankful and satisfied with the results!

I have a septic system that had never been pumped or serviced in over 30 years. The first evidence of a problem was whenever the washer ran the showers and toilets started to overflow. Then the showers started draining very slowly. Thinking the lines were clogged with roots, I called a plumber to clear the lines, but found the septic tank was full and the drain field was not draining. Septic company drained the system and told me that my drain field was not working and it would cost upwards of 3k to repair. It didn't take long (one week) for the septic tank to refill and the showers were draining very slowly. I searched the Internet for possible solutions and eventually settled on this product and the Green Pig used in combo. I used a full bottle of Roebic and 2 Green Pig packets and flushed in the master bathroom toilet. I did restrict water usage as much as possible and used 1 additional Green Pig packet per week flushed in toilet. It took about 3 weeks and then suddenly a septic smell appeared, not from the shower or toilets but from the washer drain pipe. I was so disappointed thinking that things were going from bad to worse, but then magically the showers started draining properly, and the smell disappeared. I am now 1 month in and have used a second bottle and an additional 2 packets of Green Pig just for good measure. Everything is back to normal and I never had to do the 2nd pump out. I will use the recommended schedule from here on, but WOW... I never thought this would work but it did!!!
