How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

It's just sad that I am writing what's the 3rd review on the same company for each order I'm assuming needs reviews. It should be each company but once again it's a yes. For the price and format this is well worth the money 💰 🤑 💸 😉 👍 🐈🐸🐸

Listen up if you’re looking for an oil that smells amaaazing and is relaxing you found the one! If you rub it on your skin its almost like a perfumed oil. It skin safe so it doesn’t burn you can even rub some into your hair! Also works for diffusers/aromatherapy and lasts a long time 10/10 would buy again

Added to a carrier oil as a skin oil. Broke out in a rash. Guess best use is in a diffuser

At first I was using too much and I thought it smelled weird but it’s SUPER concentrated. I was used to using more to get the scent but this one you only need a few drops for diffusing. I put a few in the bath and it made my hair smell super perfumed.

It DOES smell like sandalwood, just not as strong as I expected. The bottle is a good size. I use it in my defuser. The dropper doesn't work very well. I suspect it will stop sucking up the oil completely in two or three more uses.

Large bottle for lower price, but it’s not authentic Sandalwood! It smells like a commercial restaurants bathroom scent, soapy.
I won’t but this brand again.

Is this some sort of sorcery?
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 21, 2022Verified Purchase
!!!!!!!! I was super skeptical about buying this because of the low price. I love sandlewood but can rarely afford it so I took a gamble. I am SO glad I did. I held off on the review because I wanted to see how long it lasted. This is the first oil that outlasted the water in my diffuser 😳. I can add more water without adding any oil and it still smells amazing. I don’t know how they do it but I’m sure as hell happy they do!

Rolled the dice and lost with the teakwood
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 26, 2021Verified Purchase
The first thing I noticed about this was that they went WAY above and beyond to prevent leaking. This teakwood oil's description had me drooling, and, in addition to the regular plastic stopper under the lid, they also put one of those plastic tops that sits down in the bottle like a small bowl. I think they even glued it in, because after 20 minutes (no joke) of trying to get a grip on an edge of it with tweezers to pull it out, I finally ran out of rim to mangle in my attempts to get into this stuff, so I had to push a screwdriver through it and pull it out. What anticipation! Such high hopes, and so much teasing had me really excited to enjoy this. What a let down and waste of time that was!
I bought the teakwood oil knowing it was a fragrance oil, not an essential oil, because I was hoping to get a nice, woodsy aroma that isn't possible with a single tree extract.
This didn't fit the description for me at all. I get the feeling that this company really tried to produce a good product, and I know someone worked very hard to make this blend and they are proud of it, so I feel kind of bad criticizing it like I'm about to, but I think it's best for everyone if people can get a better idea of the product's character BEFORE they buy it.
The two overwhelming notes in this are an odd benzoin/Peru balsam/vanilla-like base that I'd put in the gourmand category because it's so sickeningly sweet. That could be useful, except the next most powerful note is something that smells like something between plastic and rubber, which really confuses the nose! It's not a horrible scent on its own. It reminds me of what some perfumers will call "leather". (It actually smells more like vinyl.) It's just a very weird mix with that strong, syrupy scent. It's kind of like eating dessert off a tire. It turns my stomach way more than it should, though, because there's nothing really terrible about either of those alone. I want to like it, but I just can't, and finally figured out why. There's a tiny bit of patchouli in it, and I can't stand patchouli. THAT'S what is causing the intense aversion I'm feeling. It's a miniscule amount, and I don't think most people would even notice it. There's something almost fruity in there, too, and beneath that, you can kind of smell a hint of teakwood. I think I heard a mention of mahogany in the description, too. I can't find that at all. The cloying base overwhelms.
I was debating whether or not to return it, hoping I could find some place for it in a blend of other woods, but the bit that got on my finger and inspired this lengthy review is literally making me heave now that it's dried down, and the patchouli hint is long gone.
I'll have no qualms about returning this now. I just wish I'd have smelled this before I ordered their Ylang Ylang. I have a feeling it's going to smell like burnt hay, and if it does, I'll have no problem returning it, too. I have had to return about one in six EOs lately. I notice that many EOs that have 4.5 star aggregates from Amazon have many 1 star reviews from more recent purchasers saying the oils are rancid, cut, or just bad while older reviews are 4 and 5 star reviews. According to Amazon's statement about how they calculate these rankings, those recent, low ratings should be given more weight in the calculation. It's clear they are not getting properly weighted so Amazon's star rankings are deceptive. My new policy is, if I don't love it, it's going back without regret.

Defaulty packaging
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 12, 2021Scent: NeroliVerified Purchase
I really like the scent. However, I discovered upon opening the Amazon box, that the package was saturated with the essential oil. Saturated is putting it lightly. It was pooling between the box and the cellophane surrounding the box. I lost 1/3 of the product. There is no sign of a crack in the glass bottle. The lid was a little loose - I guess loose enough for the oil to escape. Unfortunately, you can't return the defective item. If there had not been a leak and I lost 1/3 of the oil, I would have definitely given this a 5 star review.

A Rose is a Rose Except in Scent!
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 22, 2022Scent: RoseVerified Purchase
This company has the best essential oils. The best prices per ounce. But with this Rose oil's scent I was disappointed.
Now I know that the healing properties of a Rose do not change or depend on its scent. But I like both. I also know that a scent of any plant depends on its species or variety. Roses can have strong or almost no fragrance at all depending on the type of Rose in question. This variety used by this company lacks the fragrance I enjoy.
I kept this oil because I use a combination of flowers to balance my hormones by applying them to my skin with a carrier oil for better cell absorption and moisturizing effects. The other flower oils I use took the place of the Rose fragrance, which I prefer. So, it still works for relaxation and hormone balance, but it lacks the stronger Rose sent most look for especially for aromatherapy.
I started using Rose oil because when I asked God who created us to help me, He showed me pink rose petals falling on me from the sky lol, and I knew what He meant. I began to study His flowers and trees spoken of in scripture from books and the internet. Found a lot of amazing healing properties from clinical studies and ancient cultures in regard to His plants He created on the third day of creation. The old book we call the Bible has a lot more information than what people call unsubstantiated Faith. LOL! There are a lot of God's secrets buried in His Words given to His prophets for our benefit, if you are willing to look or listen. This could maybe be called the tip of the iceberg. Below the water is a mountain of information awaiting you if you are not so skeptical that what you think you know about it keeps you from substantiating the evidence therein by reading and studying it just as you would a clinical trial.
This companies Cedarwood and Holy Basil are outstanding in performance and fragrance. My next purchase from them will be Sandalwood or any other essential oil I run out of. If they change the type of rose they purchase to a more fragrant one, then I will try their roses again.
