Love this coat , the fit was great !
The length was perfect .
The fur inside is sooo soft !
Very warm , kept me warm even on the coldest days and was only wearing a t-shirt underneath.
I did size up one so I can have more length to the coat and a little more wiggle room in the waist allowing me to adjust the string to make it lose or tighten for a hour glass look .
The only thing I didn't like about this coat was the fur trim on the hood .
Looked really bad !!
I thought it was going to be more poofy and and nice looking like the other coats .
It literally looks matted and what you would expect fur to look like after it been through the wash which it hasn't .
I seen a previous review where they described the hood on this particular coat to look like a mangy racoon and it sure does lol

Decent coat for -30 Canadian winter

I held off reviewing until I've experienced true cold Canadian winter.. -30 before the windchill yesterday. The coat kept me warm getting to my car but I would definitely need a hoodie under it if I need to walk for more than 5 minutes. It doesn't let the wind whistle through, the fabric is fairly thick and all the buttons and zippers (they are metal) are good quality. Lots of pockets with thin fleece inside, big enough for your whole hand and phone. It has a great big hood so it does not pull your toque off your forehead, big enough to wrap a scarf around your face inside the hood and fits tight with headphones on. The zipper doesn't come up high enough to freeze to your chin (yay!) And it has a snap collar to cover your neck and chin. My only complaint is that it doesn't widen at the bottom so it is a bit tight bending to get in and out of a vehicle. If you can't afford a Canada Goose and you need to deal with -30 this is a decent option if you can layer up under it. I suspect it will not be a really warm coat when the temps drop to -40 especially if there's a wind chill on top of it but for people who don't spend a long time outside it will keep your from freezing. I'm 5'0 140lbs and size 10 works well for me with enough room to wear a sweater and t-shirt.

I really like this jacket. I got the dark green one and the colour is great. I'm not a huge fan of silver hardware - I wear more gold, but I got over it. Pockets are nice and deep so I can keep my phone, keys and cards in them and leave the purse at home. Pockets are also softly lined which make them warm. Drawstring waist helps with making it more flattering. Hood is big and warm. My only gripe is that the coat and zipper go down so low that I've actually ripped the zipper out about 4 inches at the bottom from squatting down with my kids. It's still functional though and the snaps cover that area so only i can see it.

I bought this jacket in size 8 in dark green and it was perfect. Loved the material the product in general was exactly as described and top shelf quality. I loved the jacket so much I wanted a black one as well but in size 6 because I yo yo in weight. I love this jacket because I need pockets because I prefer not carrying around my purse anymore. The second one in Black came but the flap pockets weren't actual pockets and the buttons didn't open. I also noticed that the hood didn't zip off but instead unbuttoned off. I returned that jacket thinking it was a one off and instead loved the moonless night colour in size six. Unfortunately the pockets in the front are also just for show. Also noticed that there was a small slit in the back bottom of jacket with buttons which doesn't show anywhere in the pictures. Reached out to see if there's anyway that they can get someone to confirm at the warehouse the specific types that differ and ship one out with 4 working pockets like the original one I purchased.

I'm 5'9, 160 pounds usually size 8-12 in coats/dresses depending on the brand fit, medium shirts on top and size 30-32 inch waist on jeans. I ordered a size 8 (L) and it fits great, sleeves are long enough for my arms, the length goes past my bum about mid thigh which is ideal for the cold Oregon winters I face that can drop below 30*, it's very toasty warm but not too bulky/puffy looking, however my only complaint is the should width seam could be maybe a half an inch bigger but I have always had a hard time finding a perfect fit for my shoulders. I can cross my arms across my body just fine though it's not tight, it's not a tight fit but slightly loose so I can wear a sweater underneath and still not feel constricted.
I've been looking forever for a majestic fur hooded jacket that is warm for the cold weather I face as well as stylish and can wear around town without feeling like I'm dressed for the arctic. I don't think this coat is appropriate for very warm climate states like CA, Arizona etc unless you plan to use for special occasion mountain trips.

This jacket does run a little large. Size 14 is 2XX. The extra room will be needed if planning to wear in the dead of winter for layers. The arms on the coat are extremely thin, no insulation in the arms at all. The arms are thick like a fall jacket. The fur only cover down to shoulder blades. And about 2" in width down the front next to the zipper. Which is a metal zipper (awesome) The hood is huge, warm and beautiful, doesn't match the thickness of the arms. I received alot of compliments on the jacket, it is very nice looking. I lovebthe look and style. My only complaint is that there is no insulation in the arms and I won't be able to wear it all winter without freezING. Trying to figure on how I can add to the arms without ruiening it. Otherwise it's great. Also not sure on the people saying it's heavy, mine wasn't, maybe mine is one that was missed on putting padding in the arms while all the others that says it's a very warm jacket. Because I froze today and the temp was 40 degrees (10/30/19), which is nothing for Wisconsin.

I was looking for a warm coat that wasn’t too heavy and didn’t look puffy. I usually don’t like to buy something like this without actually seeing it in person first, but read the reviews and decided to give it a try. It listed many options I was looking for and with so many color choices I decided to buy two-graphite grey and army green-planning to keep the one I liked the best. The coats arrived today and they are beautiful! They have enough weight to keep warm but are not heavy. They aren’t puffy looking and the material appears to be of a good quality. The inside of the coat is super soft, the pockets are lined with a soft material, it’s easy to zip. I bought a size 8 and it fits very well with enough room to wear a sweater underneath without feeling too snug. I think the coat can be used to dress up or down. If I had seen this coat in a store I would’ve expected it to cost much more that it does on Amazon. I’ll definitely be keeping one of them, but the hard part now is deciding which color. I would highly recommend!
