We have used these Safety 1st kits for both of our kids when they were born and purchased this one for our third due next month. We still have the other thermometers from the previous 2 kits and they still work. The comb is great after bath time to prevent cradle cap and they always come with a little bag you can store everything in to pop in the diaper bag on the go.
The only real downfall to this kit is the Nasal Aspirator which we don't use often. Though it looks like you can unscrew the rubber squeeze base, you actually can't open it to thoroughly dry it during cleaning, I have read that mold can form inside the aspirator can get trapped in there if you do not dry it tip side down. I have checked and both aspirators were clean but unfortunately for these aspirators, checking to see if they're clean means you have to destroy the aspirator. To be safe we switched to the hydraSense Nasal Aspirator which we use instead of this one because you can actually open it to clean it, it's transparent and you can tell if there's anything in there that shouldn't be.
Overall this is a great kit for parents expecting a little one
