After World War 2 an American pilot gave a couple of sticks of gum to some German children. He was impressed when they shared it. The Candy Bomber was joined by other pilots. Folks from home sent them chocolate bars and handkerchiefs to make parachutes so the candy bars would float down without hurting anyone.

In this charming story a soldier shared chocolate with a little boy, who later shared it with another lonely little boy, and with family and friends. Eventually he grew up and grew old and shared chocolate with soldiers. It was a very sweet story.
