5.0 out of 5 starsYour knees will thank you

Best darn knee pads I've ever owned. Id be on my knees an hour or two at work and they were aching and throbbing in the evening until I'd fall asleep. I've still got ~40 years of work before retirement and I plan on staying healthy.

With these knee pads the evening aches go away. They have the comfiest cushions I've ever had to use. It has a 2 point strap so the back of your knee caps aren't sore from keeping it tight on your legs. It has rivets in them so you can bend your legs with ease. The only down side is it gets sweaty after long hours and hot weather, but it's like that with all knee pads.

I highly, strongly recommend in INVESTING in these knee pads to save your knees from wear-n-tear from work.

2.0 out of 5 starsNot as good as I thought
Reviewed in Canada on May 28, 2021
Unfortunately, this item is not good as many review said. I bought this one, because my old one cracked and falls on my leg all the time. This one is so bad , so to make them stay on the leg you have to tight so hard so it cut up blood circulation. Extremely hot inside, my pants was really wet at my knees and it is only for 1/2 of the shift. When they slid slightly down the leg you can not normally bent your leg, need to lift it all the time. Just returned it.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best knee pads I've ever had !!!!!

These knee pads are the best I've ever had!
I work hard doing construction that lately has involved crawling on my hands and knees over rocks and gravel in the crawl space of an old house and on hard floors. I needed a better pair of knee pads than the thin ones I was using and I wanted a pair that didn't slip down or turn around in use. I read the reviews and thought to try the Sellstrom Pro Hybrid Flex 3. They arrived in early October and were put immediately to use. I found that they stay in place and that they only occasionally need to be pulled up, plus they are super soft on the knees! Don't spend more or hesitate; if your work puts you on your knees buy these. I am very impressed with their comfort and durability. Highly recommended!
EDIT: Still going strong after a full year of hard use! These have saved my knees!
EDIT: The price has jumped almost $20 in just over a year. Becoming less of a bargain!!

I actually bought these to go underneath my uniform pants while working on the ambulance. They work quite well for that, assuming your pants have big enough leg openings to accommodate them. I actually find that I use them over my pants while working on my vehicles. I can kneel on concrete for hours without getting sore. These things are fantastic. At first I thought the joint would be gimmicky, but after using them for a few months I don't know if I could go any other way. The straps adjust well and have a keyhole latch for removing them quickly without undoing your adjustments. They stay where they are meant to stay on your leg.

I would buy them again.

5.0 out of 5 stars 215lbs @ 6'1 used for over a year now, still going strong!

I tried the grey knee pads first but the padding was to light for me. This black pare has the prefect amount of padding for me working normally on steel grading, all day doing scaffolding. I never used knee pads for 15 years because the knee pad would just slip down and annoy me, I gotta get stuff done.

Now with this knee pad, it's so comfortable and doesn't slip(once you find that sweet spot, fairly big threshold for that sweet spot too). I often forget I have them on and go to break with them on. I wear them all day(10-12hours a day).

Working conditions I'm in +35'C down to -35'C
After a year the plastic did split a bit on the face of one knee pad but i'm still able to use them, the buckles and straps are still working great.

1.0 out of 5 stars A knee pad that causes friction burns!

They were very comfortable and light to wear to begin, they even stayed on my knees when I was walking around. Unfortunately, my comfort level dramatically took a turn for the worst. For the last three days I have been laying tile, and grouting said tile, the left knee pad caused a friction burn on the inside of my knee. Same on the right but not nearly as bad. It’s too bad they are all dirty now because I would definitely return them.

5.0 out of 5 stars comfortable to wear all day
Reviewed in Canada on December 5, 2019

Likes - comfortable, light weight, durable
dislikes - Have to tighten straps once in a while, keeps loosening if your kneeling quite a bit.
- snaps to lock strap to knee pads seems a they could break after a while, but I have been using the knee pads for a couple of weeks now 8 hours a day and not problems with the snaps yet. Spoke too soon, one of the snaps to lock straps his broken. If one could get extra snaps in case of breakage this would be a good buy other wise there is no way to secure the straps in place around your leg.
Seller has options for buying extra straps and or clips, with this option there is no need to look anywhere else for keep pads that are worth their money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Stay in place, but not well-cushioned

I'm a carpenter, and have tried a lot of knee pads over the years. There isn't one "best" knee pad for everyone in all situations, but these ones are pretty good.

They're comfortable. They stay in place well. They don't mar flooring. They're tough, and they would probably protect against impact as good or better than any other construction knee pad.

Where they fell short, in my experience, was their primary purpose -- after a day of kneeling, my knees were quite sore. Definitely better than nothing, but not as protective as others I've tried.

So far, the Kuny's accordion style is my favorite, when worn without the top strap. They don't stay in place quite as well as these, but my knees feel better at the end of the day. A good option, but the search for the best continues!

I got the ones with the gel inserts and they were a little uncomfortable for the first week or two I wore them. I’m an electrician and wear them 40 hours a week. They can be a little stiff on cold mornings until your body heat warms them up, but once warm, they are the most comfortable and best protection I’ve tried. They save my knees multiple times a day. My only complaint is the plastic buckles are weak and a tad brittle. I snagged a strap on a ladder one day and snapped one. Luckily they came with a spare buckle in the mesh carry bag.

It's a neat design that allows you to get up and kneel back down repetitively without having to adjust your kneepads every time. Straps are also nice as it doesn't use velcro and won't bunch up behind your knees when kneeling.
The downsides are that the straps do get loose with movement so u gotta either tighten them or keep using them loose. Also can be easy for debris to get into the gap which makes the kneepad not bend when you stand up.
