I bought this for my 89 MIL. She lives with us, but is from South America and the birds are very different here in Canada. The books are good for detailed descriptions, but this has the most common birds right at her fingertips. She is learning about the birds as well as their English name. Nice pictures.

Gift Success!!

I purchased this folding guide as a small gift for my neighbors. They have three young grandchildren who frequently visit and I thought they might enjoy identifying the variety of birds that live in our Pacific Northwest backyards. (I identified 15 of our avian visitors!)
The guide is nicely made and attractive. The pictures provide excellent details to make bird identification easy.
The guide is a great hit with my neighbor and family. (I also liked it so much that I'm ordering one for myself.)

Awesome quick reference for local birds!

Absolutely the perfect bird feeder guide for Oregon! We got this window bird feeder as a gift:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DS27NNX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_0SVEWCWXKN4PEM7Z38CX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
And we have attracted so many more kinds of birds than we normally see, just flying by! This guide is perfect for identifying the different types of birds in our area. It is quick to pick up and glance through and be able to identify the type of bird, while the bird is still in the feeder. I highly recommend, both the feeder and this guide!

I just moved to the Pacific Northwest and really didn’t recognize a lot of birds. This makes it so easy to spot the birds with the photos I’m very happy I bought this.

Purchased this for my husband who sits and watches birds at our new bird feeder. He come back later to say it was the best gift I had giving him! He really enjoys sitting and watching those birds and now he can easily tell what kind they are. Great reference!

Perfect for my birdwatching experience

I'm a very amateur bird watcher and this laminated guide is just what I need to identify the birds that come into my yard and feed. It's beautifully illustrated and I keep it near my patio so it's handy to grab when I see I bird I'm not familiar with.
