Book 5 was very exciting, Uthari is as cruel as ever and it was a welcome twist from the last Book that Jadora had received great power. I dont want to give anything away, but it was interesting to read about the different relationships developing. I was a bit disappointed to realise that this wasn't the last Book, so I have to wait until the end of September to read Book 6, just pre-ordered it, can't wait!!

This booked gripped me and I couldn’t put it down. Magical battles galore and great character development. And snarky dragons talking to humans. Lindsay at her best. I initially wasn’t as sure about this series of Lindsay’s (they are all excellent though) as I felt that the first book started more slowly but having got to this point it may now be my favourite so far. I can’t wait for the final book.

Lindsay's characters are stupid in this book, unlike those in her older book. Disappointing, reads like a filler volume. Oh well, one more volume and it'll be over and the good people gets to live happily with their dragons. Shame she couldn't manage to fit a wolf into the story, then the whole gang would be there.
