More than 75% of the pods had dried seeds even though their webpage says "Fresh". The yellow pods are dry and have very little aroma. Compare it with my previous purchase, which is also from Amazon.

When I contacted the company, they asked for a picture and then refunded the money. However, I think customers ought to still know the quality and that is why I am leaving this feedback.

Dead Bugs in unopened bag!!!

Absolutely disgusting, there are at least 4 dead bugs in this bag of cardamom pods. The bag is vacuum sealed shut so it was obviously packaged with the bugs inside. I am beyond disgusted right now!

I opened the packet and extremely disappointed. I wonder how is this listed under "Amazon's choice".

Its old, has absolutely no flavor or smell. What surprises me its appearance. Its look like its eaten up by insects and has holes in it.
I will never trust Amazon when it has a label "Amazon's choice".

Save your money and buy cardamom from anywhere else but here!
You can take my word as I have been using cardomom from past 30 years for cooking and flavoring sweets!

These Cardamon pods have no fragrance and are undetectable when brewed in hot tea. Perhaps I got a bad bag. Based on my experience I would never buy these again. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed!!! I received a bag full of open, dry, bug infested pods, most of the batch has a black burn open pods. This batch is old super old and it has no smell or flavor. I have this merchant a chance even though it has some bad reviews.

Great smell but weak flavor

The scent of these is really really good but the flavor is really really weak. And I don't like how it comes in a really thin plastic... Which I feel may have affected the flavor. When I boil these for tea I can barely taste anything. They have a strong aroma but they did not have a strong taste.

In the past couple of months, I have ordered three bags of Green Cardamom Pods, that lists a weight of 3.5 oz.. I have weighed every bag when I received them, they actually vary in weight from 2.8oz-3.1oz as received unopened. The first bag I thought was an unintentional fluke at 3.1oz actual weight, the second bag was 2.8oz, and the third is a 2.9oz. These are not a fluke by Spicy World, it needs to be corrected to match the weight listed on the bag. Thanks

Won’t allow to return, worst purchase ever 😡

I wanted to crush and use for tea while boiling milk plus water. I crushed 4 and 3 of them were bad, brown dry seeds. The black seeds that when crushed are white inside are the best. Just a waste of money. Don’t know why this is highly rated :(.
