Not good quality at all. I think the company which was offering cardamom just wants to sell bad product. I have a knowledge in spicies. Not satisfied

Most seeds inside pods not ripe!

More than half of the green pods have immature or dried out light brown seeds, not the flavorful black seeds. You can not tell from the appearance of the green pod. Also, they have a strong pine needle flavor in addition along with the more complex flavor and are tasty. You just have to hunt for them!

Unnatural smell and damp pods.

These seeds were not natural. They had been soaked or sprayed on with a solution that had very strong unnatural smell. They were also very damp. After I let them stay on the counter to dry, I realized seeds were very dry & no taste of cardamom. I ended up trashing them because I didn’t know what was the solution they had used to keep the pods unnaturally green & wet with a very chemically strong smell.

Tiny pods; most with dried out seeds

Nice cardamom scent when I opened the bag. But, that’s it for the good news. Pods are mostly very tiny, not jumbo, as advertised. And at least half, so far, contained dry withered yellow seeds and had to be tossed. This is not good quality cardamom.

1 out of about 4 pods have seeds in them. I use it in my Turmeric tea and I crush up one pod per cup. I have to go through too many to get a good one. The good ones are black balls and the rest are little paper like chaff things. Very disappointed but maybe it was a bad batch or most all these other people left a review before really using them a lot.

Lacking flavor and scent.

I bought this product to make a pear and green cardamom jam, but was not really impressed with how little taste they provided. Upon opening the package, I didn’t smell much but was hoping once I crushed the pods their flavor and aroma would come through. They didn’t not. Maybe it was a bad bunch.
