I needed a way to connect my PS4 to my projector via my Sony Sounder. The only problem being, I had used all three of my HDMI ports. So, I decided to get this so that I could connect the PS4 & Blu Ray player to the same HDMI input on the sounder.

I simply took the two existing HDMI cables into this, then added a new cable to connect the adapter to my soundbar. Set-up was that simple.

You just push the button to switch between the two devices. I’ve not noticed and reduction in sound or picture quality.

I rarely use the switch, as I predominantly play the PS4 but it’s very handy to have the option to switch to the Blu Ray player when needed.

It’s a compact device and quite smart looking. Although I’m not that bothered with how it’s looks, as it’s tucked away out of site. I think this is ideal for occasionally switching but, if I were to be switching regularly between two devices, I most probably gone with one with a remote.

This would work very well if you had limited inputs on a monitor and wanted to connect another device, such as a laptop, tablet, etc.

It was £8.99 when I purchased it and I think that’s pretty good value for money.

Bought this as I wanted a hdmi splitter that I could use to switch my xbox from on TV to another without having to unplug anything when the missus wants to watch something on the other TV.

The switch feels really well built and works perfectly well. You literally press the button on top of the box to switch from one TV to the other.

I also tested it plugging in my xbone and ps4 into my TV and put it on the same input. Once again it worked like a charm.

The benefit of this switch over others is it works both ways unlike most that only work one way, Would recommend over other similar switches due to the extra option this gives.
