Love these shorts but if you’re a medium (and plan on losing no weight) I would defiantly size up cause they fit kinda snug, I’m on a weight loss journey cause I’ve gained the Quarantine 15 so they will fit better when I lose that hehe. They fit on my rather plump bottom lol but The front of the shorts is tight. Good to see these are kinda high waisted so they do cover your midsection instead of sitting on hips. Other wise I’m very happy :)

Seeing how Summer weather is upon us on the west coast, I bought these shorts to go for runs in. I ended up going one size up from what I thought I needed (Large instead of Medium), since I have thicker thighs and like the extra space.
From a quality and assembly point of view, these shorts were excellent! They seemed to be made well, the fabric was soft and breathed well enough for my uses; the only issue I encountered (and the ultimate reason why I returned them) is that the white piping around the bottom of the leg holes has some stitching in the crotch region and is seamed on the inseam part of the short, almost like they used two pieces of piping around the leg-hole, and stitched it in the crotch and outside leg parts of these shorts. This is peculiar since other brands simply use one piece of piping and extend it all the way around the leg-hole, seaming it on the outside (less likely to rub) part of the leg. What this means is that if you go for a run in these shorts, there are teeny tiny 1/4" flaps of fabric that will chafe the sensitive skin high up in your upper thigh-crotch-leg region if/when the shorts ride up from normal movement. Anti-chafe sticks won't do anything to help in this situation, it's just a very painful side-effect of wearing these shorts when going for a run.

Honestly, the chafe was what prompted me to give these one star, I cannot recommend clothing that causes injury.

Fits weird, scrunched elastic band instead of smooth was a downfall I didn't care for made areas of pressure uncomfortable & over time painful, I like a smooth wasteband since it doesn't put pressure in weird spots to cause pain/uncomfortable & use the strings to tighten as needed. They fit much smaller than any normal mediums I've bought from other brands, seemed to have a lot of strings loose & not great quality. Kept them for my 11yo daughter but not for me since I wasn't able to return them in time (we had a family emergency) 160, 5'10 tall & athletic build.

Great color, great shape, and true to size. but I recommend sizing up. Unfortunately, I personally didn't find it very comfortable. There isn't much stretch to fabric and it always felt like it it was riding up my butt. I am apple-shaped with slim hips and a little bottom so I'm not sure what the deal is. Perhaps I got an irregular or defective item? Truth be told, I can't even get myself to lounge around in these let alone work out in them. Will probably be giving it to the little sister.

Shorts come with built-in panties. Wasn't a fan, so I cut them out (simple fix). Shorts are breathable and fit well. Waist band is definitely fitted, which is a nice feature for exercise purposes. They are advertised as "stretch;" however, not particularly stretchy. Would call them more fitted than a typical workout clothes "stretchy." Would still recommend them!
