My first introduction to the world of Warhammer was "Gaunt's Ghosts". I quickly became hooked, if not obsessed with the dynamics of Warhammer 40,000. Most of the works have been pretty standard pulp fiction, with a few authors standing above the rest. This is both the problem and the delight of "Status Deadzone". Like any anthology, you are going to get the good with the bad. Frankly, it looks like the editors took one decent short story and then chopped it by interspersing some less than stellar material. If you like the world of Warhammer 40,000 you won't be disappointed with the book. If you are not familiar with this fantasy series, I would recommend finding another book to start with.

Good collection of short stories.

A good collection of Necromunda stories pulled together from Warhammer Journals, independent writers and White Dwarf magazine. They vary in quality & complexity a bit, but by and large fit with 40k mythology well and offer a wide-ranging view of life in the Underhive - recommended for any Necromunda fan, perhaps of less interest to newer 40k fans who may not already have a working knolege of Necromunda houses, gangs & lore.

You can tell it has a few years on it's back, but it is what you''d expect.

A good product and in good used condition. would definitely buy from them again. If you like Necromunda and its fluff this is a must have.

Even though it is one of the first books in the black library it is well thought out and written. It ties into others of the same series easily. It reminds me of the Ghosts novels
