Presley Marks has just become a cliché: the jilted bride. Wearing a white dress, standing in front of her friends and family, she announces that her fiancé - according to his text - has forgotten about the wedding.
Humiliated and angry, she hides from the world in the mundane routine of her life. Working at the Clifton Forge Garage isn’t glamorous, but it’s safe from the spotlight.
At least it was, until Shaw Valance comes to town.
The notorious Hollywood actor is starring in a movie based on the town’s infamous murder. When he’s not on set, Shaw hovers at the garage, watching as they build his custom motorcycle and irritating her with his handsome smile. He was supposed to leave once filming wrapped and go back to his fancy life, not buy the house next door.
But Shaw might regret that purchase once Presley’s ex-fiancé returns, bringing with him a war between old rivals that could burn both their houses down.

Pres has been embarrassed by her fiance, he didn't show up at their wedding - the guys tried to get her to break up with this jerk, many times over the years, but she didn't listen. Now she is trying to get her life back in order.
Enter a movie crew, that is filming the story of Amina's murder - something the gang in the garage doesn't want to relive. The star is Shaw Valance - he is every female's dream; he is very interested in Pres. She has been burnt, and isn't very willing to get into anything - they decide while he is in Clifton Forge, filming, they will explore this chemistry they have - they are well matched and before you know it, the film is finished filming, and they have to say goodbye - but neither wants to , there are feelings now, love.
I enjoyed their banter and really liked the story. I did feel like there was something missing, the fact that there was a time jump of separation made me feel meh. Still a good book and will be continuing the series
I was attracted by the cover and blurbs, but I really got sucked into the actual books. I really appreciated the character development, the complicated relationships, the sustained intrigue, as well as the sexual tension that exploded with all three couples. Each story has its own twist and Devney Perry surprised me by the direction she took with each new book. I now can’t wait to lose myself in book #4, Noble Prince!
Told in dual POV between Shaw and Presley, this book is well-written (as always), perfectly paced, filled with emotion and angst, Presley's determination to stay away from Shaw, his determination to win her over, the inevitability of his return to LA, and the dark secrets they both have that they can't bear to share but may just find each other worthy to unburden themselves, until that blows up in their faces. Loved it, so much, the deeper dive into Presley's character, the continuation of Dash, Bryce, Isaiah & Genevieve's lives, all of it! While a standalone story in the series it truly makes the most sense to read these books in order. Enjoy!

I’m obsessed with this relationship! My heart always ached for Presley in the previous books and reading her story made me fall in love with her, I adore the found family trope in this setting and reading more about her and Draven’s father daughter type relationship had my heart aching all over again. After everything she’s been through she deserves the relationship she builds with Shaw. I adore the fact that the end of each book leaves you with an opening to the next book and what an ending this book had! I’m excited to see more of Scarlett and Luke and although I needed this cute love filled romance, I’m looking forward to the suspense that I’m sure is coming in the next book!

Mines is everytime I start a book I'm convinced it's going to be my favourite book. This was no different. I was unsure how much I was going to connect with Pressley, she’s understandably kept on the fray of a lot of the action in the first two books but by the end of the first chapter I was solidly in love with her.
When a film crew lands in Clifton Forge intent on making a movie out of the tragedy suffered by our characters in book 1 and 2 Pressley takes it upon herself to learn from Hollywood’s hearthrob and the star of the movie, Shaw Valance, exactly what the movie will involve.
This took a little step away from the disbanded motorcycle club to focus on Pressley but it still kept the small town, family feel that I loved in the first two books. Although I did think Pressley’s romance was going to come from a different source I really loved the blossoming romance between Shaw and Pressley. Pressley was such a strong character and I loved her from start to finish, she was such a firecracker and despite her heartache in the beginning she had such a realistic view of her life.
Shaw’s protective nature, despite his different lifestyle meant he fit so easily in to this family, how quickly Dash and the gang accepted him just warmed my little heart.
The drama didn’t let up in this one and the ending had me on the edge of my chair and immediately picking up book 4.

This series just keeps getting better. It has everything you could want from a book. Strong characters that have flaws. The heroes aren’t perfect. They’re human. They make mistakes and jump to conclusions but ultimately aren’t afraid to apologise when they’re wrong. They also know what they want and nothing will stop them when they set their sights on someone or something. The heroines are all strong willed women, capable of standing up for themselves. The writing is amazing especially the dialogue between the H/h. Reading the exchanges between Shaw and Presley was almost like watching a tennis match, the chemistry was so palpable between them. The underlying plot with the rival biker gang that started in Gypsy King continues in Stone Princess building the tension and setting the scene for the next book involving Presley’s sister Scarlett and local sheriff Luke Rosen and I can’t wait to read Noble Prince releasing soon.
I would definitely recommend reading this series in order of release so you can enjoy the story fully.

The book is about Presley, the Clifton Forge Garage secretary. You learn that she has been jilted on her wedding day, by her no good, MC biker boyfriend Jeremiah. Presley is devastated, feeling like a fool for trusting the one man all of her friends warned her about. But Presley is resilient, she has already been through too much to let this fester, so she does what she needs to do, forced herself to get back up, and return to normality.
But when Shaw Valance, a hot shot actor turned producer arrived in Clifton Forge to work on Dark Paradise, the film about Presley’s frienda mother’s murder, she is protective and determined to keep him at a distance.
Presley fears that the film with lack authenticity and paint her much loved boss Draven in a bad light. She can’t bear the thought as he had been like a father to her, so she wants more than anything to hate Shaw. But her and Dash see it as an opportunity to learn more, to try and find out more about the inner workings of the film, and Presley is determined to be the one to retrieve the answers.
Shaw is besotted with Presley from the onset. She is unlike any woman he has ever met, and he can’t understand why she is always telling him ‘no’. But can he woo her enough to turn that no into a yes?
A beautiful story that continues the drama of my favourite motor cycle club. The characters are all loveable, and Shaw and Presley’s romance is on fire.
The perfect read for those who love the wild antics of an MC world.
