Unable to convince anyone to write a detailed article about tape reading for his magazine, The Ticker, Richard D. Wyckoff decided to write about it himself and reason it out as he went along. The resulting twelve articles were published in 1908 and 1909.

Transcribed from the pages of the Ticker, corrected to remove printing errors where possible, and newly typeset, Studies in Tape Reading: Compiled from the Original Magazine Articles contains not only the twelve original chapters of the Studies, but also an additional 26 supplemental articles and graphs from the magazine.

This edition provides the modern reader with a clean copy of the text, and the additional material presents a broader perspective of tape reading, market dynamics, and the trading environment prevailing at the time the Studies were written than is conveyed by the twelve Tape Reading chapters alone.

A thin booklet full of spelling errors. The spelling errors and other problems are just too many. There seems to have been unsolved problems in transforming the original text into modern printed format. Someone should have taken the pains to put the text into a decent order. Some sections are hard to comprehend. As such Wyckoff's writings are worth reading but here the text has too many technical problems.

STOP: dont buy this book!!!!! its a poor scan of the original classic. They didnt even bother to spell check what the computer has transcribed. Its unreadable. The grammar is even worse. I cant believe Amazon allows them to sell such a poor copy of a great book. My advice is to rather download the original off the internet on pdf for free. this book is unreadable.

Das Originalbuch hat sicher 5 Sterne verdient, soviel kann ich der kindle Edition entnehmen. Leider sind die vielen Kurs- und Volumenbeispiele, die der Autor sehr umfangreich aufführt, sowie auch Charts und Listen in der kindle Edition nicht zu lesen. Charts werden nicht als Bilder dargestellt sondern als Sammelsurium von Hyroglyphen. Ebenso die Kurslisten ( damals wurden ja Kurse noch mit Bruchzahlen angegeben) sind mit % und yy% unlesbar wiedergegeben. Da das Buch aber gerade von diesen Listen und den davon abgeleiteten Schluccfolgerungen lebt, ist mit dieser Edition dem Leser nicht gedient. Amazon hätte besser einen höheren Preis ansetzen sollen und dafür ein dem Original vergleichbares Buch anbieten sollen. Nicht zu empfehlen!

Material in this book is a century old. If you like to read books or tape reading of Jesse Livermore or traders of the period, this book is a good insight. However, the Kindle contents are garbled. It is very difficult to read the tables and many fractional values.
