About the Author

Cam Higgins wrote her very first book about a cat who lived in an alleyway when she was eight years old. As a child, she loved visiting a neighboring farm and seeing all the animals. Now Cam has a pup of her own, who is very mischievous, and she still loves writing about animals. Cam lives in New York City with her two children, her husband, and Laila the dog.

Update: I wanted to write an updated review as we received our new copy and it has all the pages! It arrived quickly and there was not issue with a refund. My son loves this story of friends at the swimming hole.

Original review: We have bought all the other books in this series and my 5 year old son loves all of them. Wonderful pictures and great stories. However this book is missing 31 pages! We're returning and buying it again hoping to get the complete book this time. If all the pages were included I am sure I would have given 5/5 stars.
