Everyone has secrets.
Iris and Will have been married for seven years, and their marriage is as close to perfect as it can be. But on the morning Will leaves for a business trip to Florida, Iris' happy world comes to an abrupt halt. Another plane headed for Seattle has crashed into a field, killing everyone on board, and, according to the airline, Will was one of the passengers.
Grief stricken and confused, Iris is convinced it all must be a huge misunderstanding. Why did Will lie about where he was going? What is in Seattle? And what else had he lied about?
As Iris sets off on a desperate quest to find out what her husband was keeping from her, the answers she receives will shock her to her very core.

This book started out great. A loving husband, Will, who is trying to have a baby with his adoring wife, Iris, leaves for a business conference in Orlando, Florida. Later in the day his name is found on the passenger list for an airplane which crashed near Seattle. Instead of the airline advising her, she hears it from a friend who heard his name on the television during a news report about the crash. Thus begins Iris's nightmare.
Pretty soon, she is meeting people who tell her stories about her husband she never knew. Stories like he was on that plane to attend an interview for a job in Seattle. Turns out he was from Seattle and not the deep south as he had told his wife. Nothing was as she once believed. And then secret messages appear. She wonders if Will is still alive.
Why didn't I love this story or even like it. Well I did at first. It was astonishing initially, then it became wildly improbable until I found it totally impossible It went from the sublime to the ridiculous but I did finish it reluctantly.
The ending crashed and burned like the flight to Seattle.

I’ve read a few books from Kimberly Belle and I’m always pleased, this story line was great, characters were well developed and same with the plot I just wish Iris found out more regarding Will because I did find it a touch slow, the story did keep me engaged but I just wish more happened. Overall great read tho

I thought this was a well paced psychological thriller that kept me interested throughout.
Iris and Will are a happily married couple. Will leaves town to go on a business trip and was on the manifest as a passenger on a plane that has crashed. Will was supposed to be going to a conference in Orlando so why was he on a plane headed to Seattle? Iris soon discovers that Will wasn't the man or husband that she thought he was.
I would recommend it as a suspenseful story.

I really enjoyed this book. It kept me wanting to read fast to get to the end and an answer. It kept me believing and then not believing the story. All in all a good read.

Interesting read. The structure of the novel was very well, the characters were given genuine depth and motives.
The main character and her brother steals the show for me. What the author managed to do with this novel was give background characters enough depth to feel like a three dimensional figure.
The ending felt never rushed, although, there were fairly good twists and turns along the way. And yet, the book ended with a thought to brain for all the readers.
The condition of the book was very good as well. So, can't complain.

This was an action-packed thriller that kept me turning the pages. But I couldn’t rate it higher mainly for one reason. I didn’t like the main character. Even though she was grieving her husband she was mean-spirited and shallow. At one point, she’s upset that her grief is having a negative impact on her looks! I also thought it a shame that her family disappeared towards the end, and her ‘close’ girlfriends weren’t around at all which was just weird. The characters were clichés. The ending was a letdown; it felt like a cheap attempt at a twist. Overall, it was okay, and I read it quickly and mostly enjoyed it, but there were many flaws.

To me, a definate NO NO.....

This story started out well. There was great suspense, angst, pain and the why of everything that happened throughout. I also thought this was the most convoluted book I have ever read.
Characters who I had no idea what they looked like, except what I consider to be a slimeball. That was Evan who I felt was a creep. I hate what went on with this story.
A lousy and stupid ending to this load of drivel. I really hoped for better. It did not come. I will not be reading anymore from this writer. I am so disappointed with this. No HEA. Another waste of time for me.
For me, it is time to inadvertantly to spend money again trying to find sometging decent to read.

I loved this book, it is a real page turner, and reeled me in from the very start. It kept me guessing and totally involved with the main character. I loved the surprise twist in the ending. I couldn't put it down and highly recommend it. I have ordered more from this Author.
