Dr Kevin Snyder has given a new inspirational book that is easy to read, helpful, and acts as a gentle prod to do more with our lives—and shows us how.
He accomplishes this through a sensitive, sincere, conversational style. Reading this book is like sitting and talking with him as he explains his different ideas, punctuating them with appropriate motivating quotes.
At the same time, contrary to some other books of this genre, he teaches rather than preaches. He has already walked the talk, as seen in his life’s diverse experiences which include: life-threatening anorexia; being shamed into an undesirable action; participating in The Price is Right TV Show; inventing a completely-different dog leash; together with lessons learned using a Vision Board and the Power of Attraction. On top of that, we are given a link to his TEDx presentation which shows this dynamic young man sharing his philosophy in person.
Dr Snyder’s underlying point is that, to achieve our dream, we must push ourselves beyond our comfort zone and embrace failure as the price of success. But he doesn’t leave us hanging; he shows us how we can achieve our dream.
An added bonus of this book are references throughout to excellent reinforcing videos of achievers available on the free-stuff section of his website. These are definitely worth watching. And this book is definitely worth reading. It may change how you view your life.

Dr. Snyder does an excellent job inspiring readers with a compilation of quotes, examples, strategies and personal stories. I particularly like his "7-Up's" strategy for success, but my favorite part of the book is his "Price is Right" story. This story conveys the importance of passion in the pursuit of your dreams and overcoming adversity. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who could use some inspiration and a template for success in their lives.

I really enjoyed Kevin's approach as it's so in line with how I see the world in terms of what it means to live a positive and fulfilling life. The intro where it's stated that yesterday does not equal the future is so powerful - because so many live thinking that their bad breaks are holding them back. I am a huge fan of John Maxwell and this book heavily complements that type of mindset towards leadership and improving one's thought process towards higher levels of being successful. I would highly recommend this book to be added to any library / collection for personal development.

The FLOW of life involves giving and receiving, so focus on your gifts and share them freely. Passion, commitment, sacrifice, and an unwavering positive attitude can attract everything you want in life. The past does NOT equal the future. Take risks. Become comfortable feeling uncomfortable because everything you want in life is just outside your comfort zone.

This could have fallen flat, but the author managed to make these incidents come alive and meaningful to me as he shared the need to hold on to dreams and goals. Then, after several stories, the bigger picture: how we think can determine what we live. Definitely an inspirational book that has reminded me to stay focused and to not undermine myself with negative thoughts. I recommend this book for leadership programs, for persons looking to motivate themselves to their goals and to those who are curious about the idea of the power of positive thinking.
