This tracker is a bit heavy but after a day my cat got used to it. It is almost 3 inches in length so I would not recommend this for a small cat or kitten. My cat has wore it out in the rain, even in a down pour and it still works. I would recommend getting a good strong collar to attach it to so the cat doesn't lose it. This tracker has not let me down yet. It shows me where my cat is and has helped my find my cat. I like the fact that it will provide updates or you can track your cat live. You can set alerts when you cat leaves the safe area and it will tell you when the cat comes back in to the safe area which you set up. You can set virtual fences/boundaries, safe or unsafe zones and the tracker will alert you. I am not able to set up the tracker to wi-fi to extend the battery life but have reached out to technical support. My cat only wears the tracker when he goes outside so the battery lasts 4 - 5 days. The tracker will help you find the cat or if the tracker comes off by either lights or beeping. The light isn't going to help you in the daylight but will hopefully will at night. The beeping sound on the tracker has be to a lot louder. With the typical noises outside, I was not able to hear the beeping of the tracker even when I was standing next to the cat. However, when looking for your cat it tells you how many feet you are away and which direction to head. Turn on the find feature and besides the lights and beeping the tracker will tell you that your cat is "nearby" and provides you with a picture of circles indicating that you are getting close. The more circles the closer you are. If the cat is on a large property, it can give you the next closest address rather then the actual address. This tracker provides peace of mind knowing where my cat is or gives me a good general idea of where he is if I need to look for him. I know exactly where I need to go. If you have a cat the likes or roam and you worry about him, I would recommend it. The tracker will provide you with a history of where the cat has been. You can also set up a fitness program on the tracker to ensure your cat is getting the exercise he needs. I am so glad that I purchased this. It was easy to set up and the delivery was super fast.

The battery says it lasts for days and days. I find it only last a day. The battery saver mode/ wifi zone does give the best accurate location, so don’t like to turn it off too much which is probably why the battery goes so fast.
I do wish the cat one was half the size that is it. Cat took some times getting used to it being on his collar. But gives me great piece of mind when he is outside.

J'ai opté pour l'abonnement premium afin de pouvoir accéder aux données sur plusieurs appareils et de connaitre l'historique des habitudes de mon chat. La pile n'a jamais descendu à moins de 84% en une seule journée. Par contre, il ne faut pas suivre le chat en mode continue trop longtemps car c'est ça qui draine le plus la batterie. J'aime l'option de créer des zones à partir de l'application. Ainsi, je reçoit une notification quand il revient près de la maison. Le signal sonore et le radar de proximité ne sont pas très performants par contre. Il m'est arrivé d'être près du chat mais je ne le trouvais pas ni par le son, ni par le bluetooth, et même le signal GPS coupait. Il était pourtant à environ 30m de moi. De façon générale ça fonctionne très bien et l'application est intéressante.

I ordered a new tracker since I eventually was able to talk to Tractive customer service and decided to give it another try. This time I am happy with the functionality of the tracker. Although the tracker is on the heavy side and it opens the collar, I was able to find the dropped tracker using the GPS system. The GPS system is not very accurate, but it is good enough to serve the purpose. Overall, I am happy that I gave them a second shot!

I purchased the Tractive GPS for my cat. I only put the GPS tracker on my cat when he wanted to go outside and turned it off while he is inside the house, which is most of the day. However, after the first 3 weeks, the product stopped working. Now, when I hold the turn on button, the app still think the GPS is off. It doesn't seem like there is anyway to turn the product on or off anymore.

The product is unreliable and the customer service is not good neither. Now I have search for a better GPS for my cat!

Donne une bonne idée oú ce trouve le chat, il y a un délai alors si le chat est en mouvement, il n'est déjà plus là, mais pas très loin. L'historique est assez précise, ça donne une bonne idée du parcours qu'il a fait. La batterie, si il est beaucoup a la maison, en "saving mode" peut durer plusieurs jours, par contre si il est beaucoup parti et qu'on vérifie sa position régulièrement, 2 jours et c'est fini. Ce côté pourrait être amélioré. Heureusement, recharger la batterie se fait en dedans de 2h.

J'ai pris un plan sur 2ans pour économiser un peu, mettons que le deal pourrait être meilleur.

Bref, je suis satisfaite, je garde un œil sur mon chat et Tractive fait la job!

We purchased this GPS to know the whereabouts of our adventurous cat. Some nights she does not come home and this product has helped to find her and get her back. We are in a rural woodland area. The device seems rather large for a 10 pound cat, and while at first she was not happy wearing it, she's used to it now. The GPS technology does work however it is not 100% accurate as it shows she is crossing the river near our place. If Tractive can prove this cat can swim across the river, then I will invest my savings into the company lol. Anyhow, she's been wearing the device for about a month and up until the other day, it's been working well. Now it's lost because the small piece of strap on the GPS holder for the collar broke (probably snagged on something) and the GPS fell out. It was no longer giving a signal and we could locate it near its last recorded position. I emailed Tractive about this and the best they offered was a 30% discount on a new unit. We bought the new unit since it actually does work and this reduces my partner's anxiety about the cat being lost. Note that there is a subscription cost in addition to the price of the unit.

After having one of our dearest cats - Finn - disappear out the cat flap and never to return, heartbroken we bought this tracker for his brother Jake.

We wanted to know exactly where Jake was spending his time outdoors, keep him safe, and gave the small amount of hope that he might show us the common locations that him and his brother might hide out. Unfortunately, that is not what happened.

Firstly, I have to say that this tracker is bigger and heavier than Jake's head. Opening the box and seeing it I wondered if I was commiting animal cruelty by having the though of weighing down my poor innocent little black cat. Since a hunting incident a few weeks ago when Finn brought 7 dead animals into the house withing a single week, we only just got the cats used to wearing jingly collars. Long story short, Jake did not like the paperweight being clipped onto light blue collar.

This brings me onto the second biggest problem, thr battery. I don't know how much you are willing to take off your cats collar, but this device is going to run out over 24 hours. If you have more than one cat, think about how much commitment and stress this will put your cat through.

Thirdly, once the miniature brick is going to ask you to pay for a year's subscription upfront before you can even sync this up to your phone. You can't even pass the first screen of the app without making a hefty deposit from your bank account. Keep in mind that you've just spent £40+ on this device, and as soon as your friendly amazing driver has delivered it you are having to pay another £100 - £250 before you can turn it on.

I wasn't naive , I knew this device required a paid subscription but I assumed at the very least I could pay for a couple of months or use a free trial to see how i got on. Nope. I'd suggest this product got listed at £200 with the first year included.

Fourthly, once I reluctantly paid I sent Jake out into the garden to explore and roam as nature intended it. When I looked at the map where the GPS was ready to start tracking, the map had drawn a star shape trail across the nearest 100 metres, implying that Jake had travelled around the street. But he hadn't, because at that time I hadn't even attached it to him yet.

The GPS on this thing, whether I used the regular mode or live (which drains battery at 1% every 5 seconds) not only couldn't tell where Jake was - it couldn't even tell where I was either.

The app would imply that I was sat in the neighbours house , while Jake was 5 gardens over. Well I looked out the window of my house and there he was sitting in the garden.

Long story short, this is useless, inaccurate , time consuming, cruel to your cat and very very expensive. I'm leaving the review at 2 stars in the event that a cat finds its way into a car and can be tracked to the next town over.

I still hold out hope that Finn will return one day, or that he's having the time of his life hunting mice in a farmers field a mile away.

I’ve been using this tracker for just under a week now, ever since my boy decided the £££ worth of cat fencing installed just wasn’t an obstacle to his desire to be free…

It does the trick mostly, I know where he is (roughly) and I can monitor to make sure he isn’t venturing too close to any big roads. It’s great to be able to see his activity levels too. However, there are a few points I’d like people to be aware of.

1. Accuracy, well, it isn’t accurate. As I’m writing this the tracker says my cat is 2 roads down when in fact he’s on my back fence. Not a big deal unless I’m actively looking for him.

2. Size. This tracker is big - it takes up the whole side of his neck and although it’s curved, it’s quite clearly annoying for him at times.

3. The cover. Silicone - probably not an issue for your average cat but with mine being a long haired beast I’m finding his fur getting stuck to it. If there was another option, I’d go for a different case.

4. Connectivity. Now, I know gps is an outside thing. However, I still expect network to work when he’s by the back door. I’m not going to let him out unless that is working at the very least - and oftentimes it’s not in the morning. Although you can set an alert so that you know when it’s back on which is useful.

5. The app. While all the features are great when the gps is working, the app does have a few crashing issues which is highly irritating when you’re in live mode.

6. Battery life. When using live the battery drains so quickly it would be difficult to search for a lost cat for a period of time, and considering when not in live the updates only come every 5 minutes, you’d have a lot of ground to cover.

7. Subscription costs. These are far too high for something that isn’t all that accurate.

Overall, I would buy another if needed but would like to see the accuracy addressed.

Good and bad points for Tractive cat tracker user.

I purchased the Tractive cat tracker after my entire male cat went missing for 5 days and nights. Set up was done by my step son as i'm not good with techno stuff, he added the app to my Chromebook (laptop) and my husbands phone. After receiving the tracker we purchased the premium subscription plan from the Tractive website, which was for a years duration and cost just over £70, this plan allows for multiple devices to have the app, the basic plan only allows 1 device/app. What I did not like was the email I received after subscribing, stating they would auto renew my subscription after my year was up, I will be looking to stop that unless I decide otherwise! We did not choose to add 'Tractive care' which replaces lost/broken trackers, as it cost about half the price of the original tracker and they only replace once during the 1 year plan option. I found it very hard to tell if my tracker was off or on, as the sequence of lights shown in the tiny manual does not look like my tracker light, this results in me running round the garden with the tracker, then checking the app history to see I was tracked thus on! I had to do that check every time I had charged the battery, before putting it back on the cat and letting him go out, now I charge it without turning it off! Fuller instructions are in the app, I don't like this as I might be live tracking at the same time as wanting info, so it would be better in a booklet. My battery is only lasting about 3 days tops and that's with a connection to my home wifi to prolong the battery life and with about 5 short 'live' checks on the cats whereabouts. Possibly there are other battery saving methods, but like I said i'm a technophobe and it kind of defeats the purpose of the tracker if I turn too many features off. It would be better to have 2 interchangeable batteries, but this is a sealed in rechargeable type. Recharging takes about 1.5 hours, I do this when the cats in/asleep and block up the cat flap. Choosing when to recharge is a dilemma too, as leaving it to be near flat is risking inability to track, therefore I am recharging when it drops to about 25% left and i'm not sure that's good for a battery. Many people would buy this for reassurance, however, it can also be a bit worrying, as iv'e seen my cat regularly ventures a lot further afield than expected, also if the cat is static for ages like mine was for 8 hours, you worry it's been run over or died! I had to track the cat in that instance and collect him from a pub car park before the battery went flat, this is another worry, as you fret the battery will die before you find the cat, I had about 12% left whilst tracking him live. Tracking in this instance was 100% accurate! Tracking is not so good near home, often tracking him to a neighbours house rather than ours. Despite some tracking inaccuracies, the bell or light should help to locate the cat, but I think it is way too quiet. Although the device is lightweight enough, it is regularly stretching/lengthening his collar, so I have to keep readjusting it, I suggest buy a good quality collar, I believe you can buy this Tractive tracker with a collar included. Discovering the secret life of your cat with the 'history' mode is very interesting and at first a bit addictive to watch and serves to tell me I was presumptuously looking in the wrong places when he went missing for 5 days! Summarising I do like it and it does track, but make on/off clearer, make the bell louder and make the battery last longer. It would be good if somehow Tractive could monitor the cat if the battery was dead, after all how do they track criminals with tracker bracelets, surely the police don't rely on the criminal recharging the battery, so i'm guessing the technology exists!

D’abord réticent face aux nombreux avis négatifs ou mitigés (que je vais nuancer et actualiser), je me suis finalement lancé dans l’aventure tractive il y a quelques mois, ayant besoin d’un traceur rapidement après un emménagement et ne trouvant rien de comparable chez la concurrence.
Je peux vous en parler aujourd’hui après presque six mois d’utilisation. Cet avis sera long, constructif et détaillé, il est là pour aiguiller les nouveaux utilisateurs et peut être vous aider à vous lancer. Je précise que je n’ai aucun lien avec cette société et que je suis simple client. S’il y a des points négatifs, je n’hésiterais pas à le dire.

Ayant perdu plusieurs chats, tous disparus dans la nature, j’ai trouvé le concept rassurant et croyez moi, il l’est !
Au delà du côté « gadget connecté », qui vous fournit pleins de données intéressantes, comme l’itinéraire quotidien de votre chat ou encore le nombre de calories brûlées, le simple fait de savoir où il se trouve en permanence (surtout quand il fait nuit et qu’il n’est toujours pas rentré), c’est une vraie délivrance. Plus d’inquiétude à avoir, vous pouvez savoir instantanément s’il est loin ou tout proche au contraire, pour éventuellement aller le chercher. Enfin instantanément, pas tout à fait, la position s’actualise toutes les dix minutes (+ s’il ne bouge pas), mais un mode « LIVE » vous permet de connaître sa position en temps réel. Elle est cependant beaucoup plus gourmande en batterie et n’est donc à utiliser qu’en dernier recours et si vous êtes à proximité de votre animal.

En ce qui concerne les avis négatifs, j’ai beaucoup lu que la batterie ne tenait pas, ou encore que le gps était très imprécis.
Alors c’était peut être vrai à une époque (ou alors les gens exagèrent, ce qui ne m’étonnerait pas), mais il y a eu je pense de nombreuses mises à jour depuis qui ont corrigés partiellement ou entièrement les problèmes.

Pour ce qui est de la batterie, j’ai été agréablement surpris par l’autonomie qui est excellente, à condition de configurer une zone « économie d’énergie », basée sur votre réseau wifi. En gros, lorsque le traceur détecte votre réseau wifi, donc typiquement quand votre chat est à la maison ou dans les environs, la position ne se met plus à jour afin d’économiser de la batterie. Du coup, plus vous aurez un chat flemmard, plus votre batterie tiendra longtemps haha !
Pour ce qui est du mien, c’est plutôt un aventurier, il passe une grande partie de sa journée dehors (et parfois loin comme vous pourrez le voir sur les photos), il rentre le soir et je l’enferme à ce moment là, je lui retire son traceur et je l’éteins pour la nuit. Mon traceur reste donc allumé entre 10 et 15h par jour, et dans cette configuration, la batterie tient une semaine entière ! UNE semaine.
Voilà donc si vous faites comme moi ou presque, si vous n’utilisez pas le mode live 15 fois par jour, vous devriez arriver à un résultat similaire. Personnellement, je n’utilise que très rarement le mode live, car un système de « cherch’objet » un peu comme dans Pokémon (les 90’s auront la ref) est disponible en utilisant le Bluetooth, lorsque l’on se trouve à proximité du traceur. Une fois que le traceur est détecté par le téléphone, on peut lui faire émettre un son pour le trouver (dispo aussi avec le mode live).

Et d’ailleurs à propos de ça, j’ai aussi beaucoup lu que le son émis par le traceur était trop faible pour être entendu. Mais juste, c’est pas une enceinte en fait, c’est normal que ça n’envoie pas du 90db. Le volume reste très correct, suffisant pour l’entendre quand on est à moins de 5m. Plus, ça devient effectivement compliqué.

Maintenant, en ce qui concerne la position GPS, j’ai lu pour ça aussi de sacrées bêtises venant de personnes ayant probablement testé le traceur sur pas plus d’une demie journée avec leur chat en intérieur, et qui plus est, dans les commentaires récents, donc les mise à jour ne sont pas mises en cause. Il faut savoir que la géolocalisation fonctionnera mal si votre chat se trouve à votre domicile. Si votre application vous notifie que votre chat est à 100m de votre domicile alors qu’il dort paisiblement à côté de vous, c’est NOR-MAL. Le toit de votre habitation perturbe le signal. D’où l’intérêt de configurer une zone wifi (en plus de vous faire économiser de la batterie). Essayez de vous géolocaliser avec votre téléphone en étant chez vous, vous verrez que la précision n’est pas optimale. Le principe est le même si un obstacle se trouve entre le traceur et le GPS, comme une voiture, des arbres ect. Donc pas d’inquiétude si la position est imprécise parfois. La plupart du temps, votre chat se trouvera dans des endroits dégagés et vous pourrez le localiser facilement. Donc on arrête s’il vous plaît. Ce traceur fonctionne comme n’importe quel GPS et il fonctionne même très bien. Donc on configure sa zone wifi et on teste le produit sur plusieurs mois dans différents lieux avant de venir donner (mal) son avis.

En six mois d’utilisation j’ai eu quelques bugs, en voici la liste :
- il est arrivé plusieurs fois que le traceur, une fois chargé, refuse de se rallumer comme s’il était toujours déchargé. J’ai du à chaque fois le rebrancher pour se faire. Le problème n’intervient qu’après la charge, une fois allumé grâce au chargeur, il se rallume et s’éteint normalement. Le problème n’est pas survenu depuis un moment donc peut être corrigé.
- Il arrive que le traceur se rallume tout seul après l’avoir éteint. Le service client que j’ai contacté m’a expliqué que le problème allait être réglé prochainement.
- Lors de la dernière charge, donc très récemment, j’ai allumé le traceur (bip sonore + lumière), après quoi il ne répondait pas, comme s’il était éteint. Pas le bip habituel lorsque l’on presse le bouton et pas détecté par le téléphone. Je cherche dans l’assistance, mais ma situation n’est décrite nulle part. J’ai fini par trouver la solution par hasard en restant appuyé dix secondes sur le bouton. Je pense que j’ai fait un « reset », après quoi il a re-fonctionné normalement. Je trouve ça dommage que cette manip ne soit décrite nulle part dans l’assistance.

J’ai vu aussi pas mal d’avis qui faisait mention du poids ou de l’encombrement du traceur. Alors personnellement, mon chat (un mâle de 5kg donc gabarit intermédiaire), s’en est très bien accommodé. C’est peut être un peu gros pour un chaton, mais je pense que ce qui importe, c’est surtout que la taille du collier soit adaptée à votre chat étant donné que le traceur s’enfile autour. Et je pense surtout que Tractive a fait de son mieux pour embarquer toute cette technologie dans un petit objet qui s’adapte aux gabarit d’un chat, il ne faut pas oublier qu’il y a une batterie à l’intérieur qui prend de la place et que malgré ça, le traceur ne pèse que 50 grammes collier inclus !! C’est très peu et ce sera largement supporté par votre animal quelque soit son poids et son gabarit.

Il est important de le rappeler, étant donné que le traceur s’enfile sur le collier, qu’il est indispensable de le coupler avec un collier anti-étranglement, c’est à dire dont le système d’ouverture se déclenche lorsqu’il y a une tension, typiquement si le chat se coince le collier dans une branche ou un grillage. Le bon côté avec ce système, c’est que votre chat évite de mourir étranglé bêtement. Le mauvais c’est que du coup, si le chat se coince le collier (et donc le traceur), ils ne se trouveront plus sur le chat (si vous avez bien suivi). Mais grâce au système de géolocalisation dont il est équipé, on peut heureusement le retrouver facilement.
Pour savoir si votre chat a perdu son collier (si vous n’avez pas votre chat sous la main pour vérifier), est de consulter son positionnement. S’il n’a pas été localisé depuis un bon moment (par exemple, 30 minutes), c’est qu’il l’a peut être perdu. Je dis peut être, car il peut arriver comme je l’ai dit plus haut, que la position ne soit pas actualisé pendant un moment si par exemple votre chat tape sa meilleure sieste.
Alors personnellement, ça m’est arrivé trois fois de devoir chercher son traceur dans la nature (de nuit en plus). J’avoue, c’est relou, surtout quand on doit sonner chez des gens qu’on connaît pas et leur expliquer qu’on va fouiller leur jardin haha. C’est a ce moment là que le fameux mode « cherch’objet » peut être très utile. Et perso, c’est toujours la sonnerie (soit disant trop faible), qui m’a aidé à remettre la main dessus.

Bon c’est bien beau tout ça mais, et le prix ? Car oui, vous vous en doutez, ça n’est pas gratuit. Votre traceur est équipé d’une carte SIM, il faut donc payer, au même titre que votre forfait de téléphone, un abonnement.
L’abonnement mensuel ne m’ayant pas été proposé, j’ai été « forcé » de prendre un abonnement annuel, mais c’est ce que j’aurais pris dans tous les cas je pense, car ça reste plus avantageux.
J’ai opté pour l’abonnement d’un an à 84€, plutôt que celui de deux qui était plus avantageux (120€), pour tester l’appareil. Ayant été très satisfait, j’ai surclassé mon abonnement à partir du prochain paiement. Je serais donc prélevé tous les deux ans de 120€. C’est sûr que ça représente un coût, surtout si on a plusieurs chat, mais au final c’est comme n’importe quelle assurance, c’est une prime de risque au cas où votre chat disparaisse ou se perde un jour. Fini les affiches dans le quartier, les post sur pet alert (devenu payant) et les longues heures d’inquiétude, s’il est arrivé quelque chose à votre chat, vous pourrez le retrouver vous même et au moins vous serez fixé sur son sort. Si votre animal est blessé, vous pourrez le secourir bien plus rapidement qu’en criant son nom dans tout le quartier en attendant désespérément une réponse de sa part.

Il faut ajouter à l’abonnement le prix du traceur qui est de 50€.

Voilà je crois que j’ai à peu près tout dit, il est temps de conclure avec une synthèse des points négatifs et positifs, il y a encore des petites choses à mentionner qui ne méritaient pas forcément un paragraphe entier !

Les + :

- L’autonomie de la batterie
- Le mode économie d’énergie qui double voire triple l’autonomie
- Le mode live et Bluetooth qui facilitent les recherches quand on doit rapidement mettre la main sur notre animal (avec le son du traceur notamment)
- La position plutôt précise dans l’ensemble
- La possibilité de mettre en place des « clôtures virtuelles » et des « zone interdites » et d’être alertée par notification quand le chat en sort ou y rentre (respectivement en vert et rouge sur la carte)
- La possibilité de consulter l’activité de notre chat ainsi que celle qu’il a accumulé depuis le début du mois, celle ci étant inscrite dans des classements locaux ou mondiaux, qui donnent l’impression d’être dans une compétition Mario kart
- La possibilité de voir le « territoire » de son chat, c’est à dire un quadrillage des endroits les plus éloignés où il s’est rendu (en jaune sur l’image, actualisé chaque semaine)
- La possibilité de voir en temps réel le pourcentage de batterie restant du traceur
- La possibilité de voir l’itinéraire de votre chat durant la journée, ainsi que ses endroits préférés
- La possibilité de permettre à des proches de localiser eux aussi votre chat depuis leur téléphone
- Un service client super réactif
- C’est quand même super léger et compact, les gens qui disent le contraire vous abusez un peu
- Traceur totalement étanche
- Impossibilité pour le chat d’éteindre l’appareil par inadvertance
- Un système de médaille à compléter, on se croirait dans Pokémon go
- protection en caoutchouc qui après six mois d’utilisation tient le coup. Livré avec une protection de remplacement qui est de la même couleur
- diode qui passe du rouge au vert lorsque le traceur est chargé

Les - :

- pas de possibilité d’augmenter ou de diminuer la fréquence de la géolocalisation (par exemple diminuer à 20 ou 30 minutes pour économiser de l’énergie)
- Pourcentage de batterie plutôt imprécis lorsque l’on descend en dessous des 20%, on passe de 19 à 15%, de 11% a 3% par exemple, on doit courir après le chat alors qu’on pensait avoir le temps de le laisser rentrer pour le recharger (le traceur hein pas le chat vous m’avez compris). Au final il vaut mieux recharger à 20% plutôt que de prendre le risque que le traceur tombe en rade alors que le chat est toujours dehors
- Quelques bugs pas forcément très rassurants
- Embout de chargeur unique pas trouvable autre part que sur la boutique officielle (mais cela est dû à l’étanchéité dont j’ai fait mention dans les + donc ça reste à nuancer, un embout de type « usb-c » n’aurait pas assuré l’étanchéité de l’appareil)
- recharge plutôt longue, 2h environ

Voilà, je pense avoir fait le tour et vous avoir donné envie de vous lancer ! Ça n’est pas parfait, il y a des choses à revoir, ça a un coût, mais pour le service que ça rend, je ne vais pas me plaindre. Merci à tractive pour le stress en moins et les animaux retrouvés !

Letztes Wochenende war es mal wieder so weit. Der Kater war weg. Leider sind meine Nachbarn ehr beratungsresistent. Alle füttern ihn und lassen in in ihrem Bett schlafen. Nach 2 Tagen habe ich Zettel verteilt und als ich nach Hause kam war er wieder da. Er ist einfach manchmal auch nicht so schlau und rennt in jede Tür die offen ist. Diese Ungewissheit wo er tagelang eingesperrt ist hat mich dazu bewegt diesen Sender zu kaufen. 1 Tageslieferung... Top. Ausgepackt. 2 h geladen. App installiert. Basis Abo abgeschlossen (tatsächlich finde ich es recht teuer mit 12 monatlich). Tracker in der App installiert. Und los ging es. App ist ganz gut. Und was soll ich sagen. Ich bin begeistert. Die schlechten Rezensionen haben mich doch etwas verunsichert. Nun kann ich sehen wie weit geht er überhaupt von zu Hause weg und was sind seine lieblings Plätze. Der Kater ist recht klein und hat nur knappe 4 Kilo. Die Größe des Senders war erst mal beeindruckend aber an der Katze dann doch gar nicht mehr soo groß. Ihn störte es nur am Anfang ein wenig. Ich kann diesen Sender wirklich absolut empfehlen.

Nachtrag: Sender läuft nun seit einigen Monaten und hat wirklich mehr als nur seinen Zweck erfüllt. CH lade den tracker jeden Abend. Was sich diesmal als mehr als nur nützlich heraus stellte. Der Kater war von seiner üblichen Route abgewichen und fand nicht mehr nach Hause. Bei uns ist ein Bahndamm in der Nähe und diesen kann auch ein Katze nur an einer Unterführung überqueren. Er saß ganze 30 Stunden in einem Garten auf der anderen Seite fest. Ich war mir sicher er hatte den tracker verloren. Also bin ich rüber gefahren und die netten Leute haben mich in den Garten gelassen. Laut App saß er direkt vor mir im Gebüsch. Sehen konnte ich ihn nicht. Der Ton war leider aufgrund der ungebungsgeräusche nicht zu hören. Dann sah ich ihn auf der anderen Zaun Seite
