This amazing trilogy left me speechless! I started the series in different order so I kinda spoiled myself, but nevertheless it didn’t ruin my experience reading Twist Me trilogy last.

Julian and Nora have a place in my heart. I’m always weak for their characters.

At first, you think Julian is invincible or doesn’t really care whether Nora hates him or loves him but as the story goes, it just proves you wrong - the constant need to listen the “I love you” words from Nora, the guilt he feels when he does something that upsets her, his obsession to keep her safe and to know her whereabouts just proves you that this man does feel and does care if Nora truly loves him, truly cares about him. Anna Zaires wrote him beautifully.

As for Nora, I had a little hard time getting to like her, but that just at the beginning. As the story goes, I truly liked her character and respect her when she literally put herself in danger in order to save Julian. She became stronger, determined, and loyal.

The books were really good written, and the plot was intense. I just couldn’t catch any break! Very steamy book 🔥 I think I understand why many fellows were obsessed with Julian, this man is fire.

I strongly recommend you to continue the series! Lucas and Yulia’s was the first trilogy I read and to say I was obsessed is an understatement. I’m so happy Anna Zaires didn’t match him with Rosa.

As for Peter and Sara, time to re read because they ARE my favourite couple. I can’t believe I wasn’t interested in reading their story but when I did, lord! The best.

I read this series probably 3 years ago and once again I gobbled it up. I absolutely love the story between Nora and Julian.
It's intense, dark, captivating, violent and romantic all wrapped up into one.
You either love it or hate it. I absolutely loved it and we'll most likely read it again in a couple years.
If you do not have the stomach for violent sexual content, this story is not for you! Well done Anna! Your mind is exceptional and you have an amazing gift. Only wish I could be half as good as you are! Thanks for an incredible read again!

It is a dark & twisted story, not for the faint of heart. The s&m relationship here is not just role playing (there are no rules) but real, a fair warning to anyone. The male character, Julian, is a sadist. Other reviews keep saying how they don't like the male character, but because HE IS portrayed as truly unlikeable and abusive, a ruthless killer and a criminal. However, as I read through to the end, I started understanding him more, for why he is the way he is and started liking him. And for someone portrayed as such, he is actually very patient with our female character, Nora. He knows that she is a virgin and not used to an s&m relationship therefore being gentle and careful with her during sex until she starts getting pleasure from and trained to his sadist nature. He never really did anything damaging to her, nothing that he knows she can't handle.

If you're the type of person who gets a rush from a story about being submitted against your will then maybe you'll like this story.

I am not recommending this to just about anyone. If you think you can take a story of abuse, manipulation, sex with pain and without consent, but also love in the most unconventional ways, passion and action then go ahead and buy this book.

It started with a twisted fantasy and finish with a full action story. Hardcore story with cold blood killing, lots of bood, lots of sex, twisted love, action, political corruption,torture, gangster, revenge , even rape. If you like none stop action you wont be desapointed.

I have very mixed feelings about this book. Spoiler alert!

It must be good because I read the entire series in about 3 days. I just have a hard time liking the characters. Julian is a sadistic sociopath killer who only cares about Nora. He repeatedly rapes her in the book (it is not gentle persuasion - it is RAPE) and turns her into a submissive sexual partner. Julian also physically beats and threatens to kill someone close to Nora to gain her co-operation in being a rape victim. Nora is a young 18 year old girl. She is molded into a sadistic sexual relationship by a manipulative monster of a man.

I was actually embarrassed to be caught reading it. Luckily, I was reading it on my computer so my family would not know what I was reading.

The writer does evoke feeling throughout the book. It makes one wonder what they would do and how they would react in a similar situation.

I love this series. Anna Zaires perfectly captures what I imagine would be my reactions were I in Nora's place. Unlike so many other romance/erotica novels in this genre, the writing feels smart and educated, as if Anna actually researched some of the things that Nora would be going through, and the different stages of her reaction to "abduction for life" if you will. Definitely not the same thought processes as a hostage or kidnap-for-ransom victim.

Julian was deliciously dangerous and wonderful as well. I wish she had taken a bit more time to introduce use to some of the secondary characters who are now getting their own miniseries spinoff, but I don't think that was her original plan, so I guess I can't fault her too much for that. The only criticism I really had is that in the third book, Julian came off as a lot less powerful as a crime lord than I had felt in the first two books, though he certainly remains powerful in their relationship. I wish she hadn't chipped away at his reputation in order to create action scenes.

I highly recommend this series.

Amazon, this kind of literature needs to come with a warning about the content please. It gets a 1 because you won't let me score it zero. I'm really disappointed I've been exposed to that abhorrent topic, you can't unsee what you've seen.

One morning, I checked my phone to see an Amazon recommendation appear on screen: a trilogy of books called "Twist Me". I had never heard of it but as the trilogy was available for a VERY fair price, the reviews were excellent and the brief synopsis interested me, I decided to give it a go - why not?

Little did I know just how large an impact the series would have on me.

The "Twist Me" books are very well written, easy to let yourself get lost in (when a book has that "don't want to put it down" quality, that's mightily impressive) and, importantly, it's a bold, thrilling, exciting, shocking, stimulating and incredibly dark odyssey filled with uniquely intriguing characters. As I say, this series had a huge impact on me because I found myself not being able to get the thought of it out of my head - a true addiction, though whether that's a good thing remains to be seen.

In terms of nit-picky negative points, the books get quite repetitive sometimes and the third story drops the ball somewhat by not having that strong of a story as well as a bit of a rushed ending.

But overall, this incredibly bold trilogy is unlike anything you've ever read and for me, it embedded itself into my brain and refused to be forgotten about. I don't think any book has ever had as much of an impact on me. Wow.

My love for Anna Zaires exploded after reading Mia & Korum trilogy and so I was very excited to read this trilogy even though it was dark romance instead of fantasy/sci-fi. And after reading the Twist me series I can unequivocally say that Anna Zaires is now amongst my top 5 favourite authors of all time.

When I say this book was the epitome of captivating I honestly am not exaggerating. I could not put it down for a second. I was drawn by the incredible storyline, the intensity of Julian, the chemistry between him and Nora. I'm not sure what I was expecting going in but having my heart stolen out of my chest by Mr. Esugerra was not it.

I adored the progression of the story, how with every chapter and book we see Nora and Julian's relationship have a new depth and element. Both characters were so well written and the development was top notch. The writing was amazing, the storyline enthralling and the book was just an all round incredible read.

I've said it once, I'll say it a thousand times, hands down one of the best series I've ever read, and an absolute MUST read for dark romance lovers out there.

So beautifully explained that the story absorbs you and makes you feel their fears, thoughts, emotions..
This is not just a love story based on lust.. It is a story with an interesting action, that gives you adrenaline..

Yet all I said is not even close to describe the great quality of both the writing style and the story..
