I used this tintable Raptor Liner to coat the underside to halfway up the firewall of my Dodge truck project. I used 2 quarts of the 4 quart kit with 3-3.5 oz of tint (PPG Shopline toners mixed at the auto paint store in town without the binders) per quart. I poured the tint in the bottle and shook it really well, then added the hardener, and shook it again. The color looked consistent between the two bottles. It sprayed easy and I really like how it turned out.
Although the price has increased, it is still a good value for the DIYer. I tinted mine Voodoo Blue and the results on my trailer are amazing. Definitely take your time prepping your parts properly, get a water trap filter for the air gun, and the results will speak for themselves.
There are many how-to vids on YT, but a quick hint is to use a higher PSI and a urethane based reducer if you want to achieve a smoother texture.
Very nice product. Tint (sold separately) was pretty close to truck color. I used it for the underside of my truck bed, so only needed one coat. I plan to use the black liner for in the bed and a couple of coats. Looks as good as a professional installation.
