UPGRADED Invisible Baby Proofing Cabinet Latch Locks (10 Pack) - No Drilling or Tools Required for Installation, Universal for All Cabinets and Drawers, Works with Countertop Overhangs, Highly Secure - (WHITE)
Enhance your purchase
- UPGRADED VERSION - taking to heart feedback from our customers, this new version features a longer hook arm that works even in kitchens with countertop overhangs. It also has greater adhesive surface area for greater security!
- EASY FOR ADULTS TO OPEN, SECURE AGAINST KIDS - The locks can handle at least 20lbs of pull tension, more than enough to keep cabinets locked against kids. Meanwhile, parents and adults can easily open locked cabinets with one press against the spring-loaded latch, without any need for special keys or magnets.
- EASY AND DAMAGE-FREE INSTALLATION - No tools required! These are installed using strong 3M adhesives. You won't need to drill holes and screws into your cabinets, drawers and cupboards, and the adhesives can be removed without leaving marks. This is especially useful for renters. Your furniture won't have to be damaged to protect your curious children.
- INVISIBLE DESIGN - unlike other magnetic and knob locks, these locks are hidden behind your cabinet and furniture doors, and hidden away from your curious children's attention. Your kitchen and furniture will look just as beautiful without obtrusive safety devices interfering with its aesthetics.
- ONE SIZE FITS ALL - these latches will fit your cabinetry whether they have crossbars or not, and regardless of size. For cabinets without crossbars, the supplied buckles will lock the latches in place.

Product Description

Concerned about your kids getting in contact with harmful substances in your kitchen and washroom cabinets? No problem!
Child-proof your cabinets in minutes with Benny Bradley’s Invisible Baby Proofing Cabinet Latch Locks. No drilling, no hardware, extra strong, and leaves your kitchen and washroom looking beautiful.
This product works for most kitchen cabinets and drawers, but there are enormous variations in cabinet and drawer designs, and we have heard exceptions where our product does not fit. We suggest you measure your countertop overhang and drawer space before buying.
Measure your countertop overhang and drawers for product fit
|
|
|
|
---|---|---|---|
This latch works with countertops and drawers that extend a maximum of 1.5 inches from the edge of the cabinet box. |
The latch requires 2 inches x 2 inches of flat space to adhere to the cabinet door or drawer. |
The catch (or buckle) requires 1 inch x 2 inches of flat space to adhere to the side wall or top of cabinet. |
Some drawers (as shown in this picture) will not have the 2 inch space needed to install the catch. Measure your drawers first! |
Product Effectiveness Depends On Correct Installation

Our adhesive has been tested to withhold 25lbs of force when applied correctly. It is meant to be stuck on only once on a clean, dust-free, dirt free surface. Please follow of the age-old adage, with a little twist: “measure twice, apply once…And always on a clean surface”. The adhesive loses its effectiveness if it's pulled off and relocated. Pre-plan your placements. Clean your cabinet/drawer surfaces before adhering the product. These steps will ensure the latches works properly to keep your little ones out!

-They are strong and stick well: my super strong persistent 2 year old tries to open the cupboards and drawers daily, by putting all his weight into it and pulling repeatedly. The locks havent budged at all despite lots of abuse!
-they fit anywhere: we have odd cupboards and drawers, so I thought they would only work with a few of the cupboards, but with the extra depth on these latches we were able to mount them on every single cupboard and drawer
-convenient system: I love that these don’t have a “key and magnet” system- we would definitely lose the key, and with these it’s already second nature to open the clip. It doesn’t feel like a hassle to unlock the cupboard.
-they don’t damage the cupboard: this is actually the second system I bought- the first one required drilling into the cupboard, and on the first attempt my husband split the cupboard door (which is surprising as he is very handy). So I love that with this system there is no chance of damaging the cupboards.
-good price: you get plenty of locks for a very reasonable cost.
-easy to install. It seriously took maybe 5 min to do all cupboards and drawers.

Our one mistake was that we didn’t measure how low our sinks were, so we were unable to use them for the cupboards we really want to control. ( under the sink with the cleaning supplies and garbage ). So, I recommend looking in your cabinets first to see if you have room to install the hooks. The third photo reflects our low sink where we couldn’t use the hooks

Word of warning - it won't work on stacked drawers that don't have frame between them. There will be nothing for the latch to catch on because you can't install the buckle on the movable drawer above. As well, you need enough clearance behind the door for the latch. I ran into this problem with the cabinet doors under my sink, and there's no help for it -- the door sticks open a centimeter. It's still worth it though.
Useable for large hands, extra large millwright sausage fingers may have some difficulties.
However, if your drawers have some side to side slop, they may be defeat-able by just pushing the whole drawer sideways. Just reposition your tabs (hair dryer to loosen glue if secured well)
As with any 3M tape, clean surface and dry. Secure it and let sit overnight at least before putting operating to allow glue to fully hold.

These are big and the flat part on my drawer was too small to fit the adhesive part, when I moved down over the edge interior, then the product sits to low to catch on anything. Hard to explain but check out my pictures. The door for a cabinet seems to fit with just a little bit of an over hang. The product it self feels sturdy and durable, but I havent actually used it.

***I just found out this is a small business! Even more of a reason to support them!***

I decided one cabinet didn’t need the lock and I was able to remove it in less than a minute with a hairdryer. It left no residual.
