Disclaimer: I normally drink medium/light blends, like Donut House.
First of all, it smells AMAZING. However, I took 2-3 sips of the first cup and a few minutes later, I had what felt like a heart attack. My heart was racing, I was sweating, I knew I wouldn’t be able to drink it so I gave it to my husband, who took a few sips and said “wow it tastes good!” A few minutes later he came back to say he’s not feeling well. We both felt like we were about to throw up, sat on the couch sweating and drinking lots of water. Since I can’t return it, I’ll either use it as a home perfume - or offer it to visitors who don’t have heart problems.

However... as many 1 star reviews for this flavor has pointed out:
Amazon cannot get the quantity right! This 12 pods/box - for 3 boxes (or 36 pods). I received 1 box on my original order and 1 on my replacenent order - still 1 box short. I appreciate the support customer service has provided (full refund) but theres a review trail for this error...

**Update 3 Jul 2021 - A little late on the update of my order received at the end of May 2021 but wanted to assure everyone as to the freshness of the coffee received. My order came with an expiry date of 19 Mar 2022, so it is definitely fresh. As you can see from my updates, the coffee seems to turn around fast enough that there should be no concern with not receiving the most fresh coffee. Also, still loving it..**

**Update: 22 Aug 2020 - received my next order and as good and as fresh as the first. The best before date on this box is 29 Jun 2021. Still Happy!!**

**UPDATE: 1 June 2020 - received my second order and it as good as the first. The best before date on the box is very reasonable at February 2021. Still Happy!!**

I'm very happy with this purchase. The packaging has changed, but unlike I have seen others write, the flavour remains the same.

I like the fact that this coffee has no after-taste that you find with some flavoured coffees from sweetners or aspartame.

This coffee is not as strong as some may like. I prefer my coffee a little lighter. For example, if I order coffee from McDonald's, I take it with 1 cream/1 sugar. However, if I brew this coffee on the 12 oz setting, I can drink it without adding anything to it. It is nice though with a little whipped cream and shaved chocolate on top as well, but you'll likely want to brew on a 8 oz setting for that.

This coffee disappears fast! I will not hesitate to order it again or recommend to others.

After seeing such great reviews on Amazon, I couldn't resist trying out this flavour. Turns out, everyone is right! It's in my top 2 favourite flavours along with German Chocolate Cake. The Vanilla Hazelnut is smooth, nutty and not too powerful. I like it best with a splash of cream and nothing else. This is my second time buying a box, highly recommend it!

I love these flavoured Keurig pods, I look forward to having a coffee in the morning when it is flavoured delicious. I’m happy that I found these on sale for a very good price also. They taste delicious, and I found that you can use the pods twice. I use what’s left over grinds in the pod, I add them my French press the next morning, along with a scoop of normal Folgers coffee. I’m able to get a 2nd cup of delicious flavoured coffee out of the pod 😄

I really liked this coffee, it's great black and the flavor carries well when milk/creamer and sweetener is added. I would definitely buy again, but I'm surprisingly less of a fan of flavored coffee... my preference is for a creamy espresso which cannot be done by K-Cups as it needs to be done Ristretto for the extra creamy layer after making it.

A flat white, which has well-steamed milk foam with the espresso and hot water poured through to equal a full cup of coffee is honestly the most delicious thing ever... I so very much wish that was an option for this pre-made! But my personal bias aside, this is a wonderful coffee flavor for those that appreciate the flavor outside of coffee.

So I ordered the french vanilla, but received a light roast coffee with a faint smell or vanilla. But the flavor still remains that of your regular coffee. I was expecting a little bit more.
I work with customers all day, and want to avoid that strong coffee smell so I usually mix my coffee. Thus I needed something that is coffee but slightly tasted different
Will try the Mocha Lava next as the reviews are awesome

I LOVE this coffee! After having some health issues, I’ve been banned from caffeine. It’s been a struggle trying to find a decaf coffee brand that doesn’t taste muddy or like day old coffee. I ordered this when I noticed it was on sale and figured it was worth the risk. I am pleasantly surprised by how nice Van Houtte’s Vanilla Hazelnut decaf tastes, especially with my hazelnut creamer - yum! I’ve always loved the Van Houtte coffee brand anyway, but this decaf has made my “cold turkey” switch from caffeine much more enjoyable.

I’m always a bit cautious when ordering food online, and was relieved to see it was delivered fresh and doesn’t expire until March 11, 2023 (7+ months from writing this review). I received 3 small boxes, each containing 24 K-Cups. The K-Cups are recyclable - bonus!

I will definitely purchase this coffee again when it goes on sale.

Update 05/19/20 - Beware buying from Deals On Call
I purchased my latest box from the seller "Deals On Call"
Product "Best before" date and lot code were obviously tampered with.
Information was blacked out with marker, covered with clear box tape and more black marker.
A new Best By sticker was added to product.

This product is excellent for those who cannot tolerate caffeine due to dietary restrictions. The method used does not use industrial solvents, commonly methylene chloride, to leach caffeine from coffee beans and is subsequently washed out....however some will always remain. The swiss water method uses only water, no chemicals. Secondly, the Arabic bean chosen is the least acidic coffee bean, and therefore is the preferred bean with anyone suffering from acid flux disease.

Creme Brûlée flavor by Van Houtte is the only coffee my wife will drink, and this has been the case for more than 10 years. Over time I have brought 5-6 different brands that offer the Creme Brûlée flavor (for Keurig) for her to try; she always goes back to Van Houtte's.

I order this coffee regularly and have been doing so for a very long time. While placing another order I have been reading other reviews. There are numerous 5 Stars like mine, and quite a few 1 or 2 Stars. Let me say that we have never experienced any of these problems, and that is going back for more than 15 years with purchases from Keurig, Bed Bath and Beyond, but most from Amazon. For the customer with the exploding cups, never happened to us . Suggest checking your home's water pressure or the machine itself. For the ones who experienced bad taste, check your water quality. If you simply don't like it, then choose another.

Avoid!! Shady practices!

After a long search, I discovered I love the Sumatra coffee from Van Houtte.

Upon receiving the item, I discovered the seller's sticker is conveniently placed OVER the Best By printed by the manufacturer. After tearing the sticker off both, I discovered it had expired in 2017. The "MA" might be March, which would mean it's a whole YEAR expired. On top of that, in my picture, I'm pointing to a circular patch of what is possibly hot glue, making it impossible to see what's underneath. I suspect this is so people can't take off the sticker. I also suspect why people are reviewing this item as tastes different than what they're used to. I'd say avoid this seller if you can!
