I love Colombian coffee, and always buy the Victor Allen brand. When I found the 200 count pack I was trill. I drink 3 cups a day and the first box ended before I expected.
The second time I took the time to open the box and count the cups. Oh surprise! It were 166 and not 200 as stated in the box. I hope somebody can give and explanation, because this is simply stealing.

I love hazelnut creamer so I thought what would taste better than hazelnut coffee. I was so excited when the coffee arrived! I had used Victor Allen's coffee in the past so I was expecting a great cup of coffee. Well. I brewed a cup and sat down anticipating a good cup of coffee. I took a sip. I was barely able to swallow it. This is the most DISGUSTING flavor! I poured the cup down the sink. The only other time I've had undrinkable coffee is when my neighbor ran old coffee through the coffeemaker to "reheat it." I'm wondering who I dislike enough to gift the rest of the box to. Maybe I'll give it to my neighbor....

Don't work in Cuisinart Keurig

I wanted to love these for the price. I have a cuisinart Keurig coffee maker and these kcups explode quite a bit. The water overflows so the coffee pours out the normal spot and over the sides of the lid. The coffee grounds end up in your cup and it's a complete mess. The only thing I've been able to do is open each kcup and pour the ground into a reusable cup that works well with normal ground. I will spend a little more next time and get something usable.

So excited for my order to arrive!!!! Holidays are in the air), Unfortunately Victor Allen’s peppermint bark coffee is a MAJOR let down ):
The aroma is the nicest part ( and that is faint), flavor is hard to even find (coffee and the peppermint bark) very weak on all accounts (watery at best)
Sheerness very much so to the point of NOOOOO flavor!
Price would have been right if Victor Allen’s peppermint bark coffee resembled “coffee” ! Very Disappointed and regret having to say only buy if you like WEAK ,FLAVORLESS, WATERY coffee.....
Will be spending more $$$$ on other brands to see if they deliver on a holiday cup of coffee.

Ruined my Keurig coffee maker

I bought the Victor Allen Morning Blend Light Roast Coffee. My first cup was great. The second cup only slowly dripped through, with only a half inch or so in the coffee mug. K-cup was over flowing with grounds filled muck bubbling out of the upper hole. No, unlike other problematic reviews, the foil lid did not come off. I cleaned out the mess and ran a cup of plain water through the coffee maker. It was ground filled but flowed freely. Same thing the next time with completely clear water. Tried another VA K-cup - BAM! Same problem. Drip,drip - big mess again. This time the de-scale light came on. Oh, I thought, that is the problem. So I descaled the coffee maker. Free flowing water again. Next 2 cups of coffee were great (next day) using a different brand of K-cup. Following day - tried VA K-cup again. Victory - it flowed through just great. Next VA K-cup - same problem of clogging up with coffee maker vainly trying to pump water through the cup. I tried another brand again and it, too, backed up with water trying to slowly pump through. Then coffee maker just quit. De-scale light came on again. After much gnashing of teeth, I unsuccessfully tried to de-scale again. Water would just drip drip through. Then machine just stopped. And yes, I did of course turn it off several times. During all of this process I never once thought to turn the VA K-cups over. Duh. The lower needle in the coffee maker was not punching a hole in the VA K-cup at all. Unfortunately I rather angrily threw them in the trash and did not take a picture of the non-punctured K-cups After reading some review, I checked the rest of the K-cups left in the box. Most were puffed up. I would have tried one of the non-puffed K-cups, but my coffee maker is not working at all now. Pumps water in but not out. I think that the non-punctured K-cups clogged up the coffee maker and the water that was pumped from the reservoir was being dispersed somewhere in the machine because it certainly wasn't flowing or now even dripping through the machine. Keurig would turn on, but would do nothing else and the de-scale light periodically flashed on. I emptied reservoir, unplugged coffee maker and threw it in the trash. I have had that Keurig for over 15 years and never had a single problem with it. Ordered new Keurig coffee maker. Will I try the remaining VA coffee pods? No, no, no. And it is sad because the coffee itself is very good and reasonably priced. But my $13.99, 42 cup box of coffee actually cost me $110 plus tax for a new coffee maker. Not a great value at all.

Do not buy! It's a shame, the coffee is good... but many of the pods are defective. I thought maybe I received a bad batch... but when I see the multiple numbers of reviews stating that the seal on pods breaks open... shame on Amazon for continuing to sell this defective product. My experience thus far is that 30 percent of the pods I use have the seals break open and spill grounds and coffee all around the Keurig, including the cup. Very disappointed - as I said, the coffee itself has a very good flavor. If you know there's a problem with inventory... and continue to sell it to the unsuspecting buyer... shame on you!!!

Defective pods

Defective pods

Amazon, pay attention, this is a problem, please contact seller to resolve this issue. I have another unopened box which I am hesitant to open if the pods are defective in it also.

Pods don't fit my keurig.

The pods I received have a divet in the bottom that is larger than normal. When you close the keurig top the bottom needle doesn't punch through, so no coffee, just a big mess as it spills out the top. These pods do work in my Keurig single serve so I'm keeping them, but that's not what the intent was. The keurig pictured is the one the pods DO NOT work in . . . Not sure of the model.

Warning: may clog your Keurig machine. The top membrane of the pods seems to be too flimsy. An extra-large hole in the membrane rips open during a brew cycle -- this leads to coffee grounds spraying back into machine, sending it into a false "de-scale" mode and no longer brewing normally. You can do a DIY repair, but takes a good amount of time. I like the flavor and low price, but unfortunately I can't buy this product again. Details: On my early-model Keurg, these pods act differently than all other brands: after a brew cycle, the top membrane of the used pod shows a large burst hole, instead of a small puncture hole as with other pods. The hole seems larger than the silicone gasket around the top needle. This is almost certainly what leads to obvious extra-messy grounds around the pod chamber (no problem, those clean up easily) but apparently to a bigger, harder-to-see problem: coffee grounds going up the top-puncture hollow needle. The grounds apparently clog the needle, and lead to a misleading 'de-scale' message (solid, then flashing) even though the machine has been recently descaled. (I'm guessing blown-back grounds are triggering the de-scale sensor.) In this state, the machine brews incompletely, with a full minute-long pause partway through. Descaling doesn't help, but, following hints from web searching: a thin paperclip or similar must be used to carefully de-clog the hollow top needle, along with cycles of water to clear the loosened clog. This happened to me after I used about 10 of these pods ; it took a couple of hours of work to get the machine working again. I like the flavor of the coffee these pods produce (yes, some situations don't require a fresh ground, special source, or specialty-syrup flavored experience); they would be a great value if they had a top membrane that would not render the coffeemaker unusable. There's a small chance that the problem I encountered was coincidence, but the timing of the problem and accompanying evidence make this unlikely.
