It was amazing how light the cordless version is. I bought the exact same thing, only with a cord 9 years ago. The cord just gave out now. What was disappointing was the fact that the clippers are missing an arm to raise or lower the blades. In addition, there were some clip on guides missing which surprised me. Nevertheless, I took the missing clip on guides from my old clippers and added them to the new one. It should be noted I have serious shoulder issues from holding a car off me and putting a t-shirt on can be very painful. With the old one, it was bad enough it was so heavy, it usually took me over an hour to cut my hair as I had to repeatedly stop until the pain went away. With this new set, I did not have to stop for the pain, and was able to completely cut my hair in one solid session. For that reason, I am giving it 5 stars. Otherwise, it would have been 3.5 to 4 stars for the missing clip on guides which were not part of the package.

These clippers were purchased for my husband who has not been to the barber since this Covid thing started. To say his hair was long would be an understatement. So while it was a little scary to make that first swipe with the clippers he was able to able to clip his own hair using the 1 inch guard for most except the top, which we ended up manually cutting and it actually turned out to be pretty decent. There are a couple of tapered guards for over the ears that also worked pretty well. That was about 4 weeks ago. We did a repeat last week and found it easier. With these clippers now in hand, plus attachments that came with it, he may no longer feel it necessary to go to the barber anymore and not only save money but time.

While I was reluctant to use them on him, he was braver and did a very good job of cutting his hair. I should say that he has never, ever cut his own hair before. He has suggested that it would be good if the battery light on the clippers indicated when they had reached a full charge.

The products description sounds like there is a clipper and a trimmer - some sets have both - but this set has just the clippers, which is all you really need, though a trimmer is handy to get sharper edges at the back of your neck or sideburns.
