Almost perfect -Could be better quality for trimmer

Due to pandemic - trying out at home.
Used it one time and would like to provide some reviews what I liked and not

Pros:
-Cordless with option of using it while connected - this gives a sense of comfort that battery will not run out and stuck.
-Lots of accessories provided in this package.
-Power is adequate for the main device.
- like the fact it provided instructions on how to use the different adapter for it with pictures - specially for someone who is amateur
- Soft pouch provided for storage.

Cons:
-The other 2 trimmer’s quality felt plasticky (especially the knob that turns on/off. not sure if it will survive repeated use.
- there is no battery indicator on how much juice left- it’s not as crucial with fact we can charge n use but it would be nice.
- the charging cord could have been longer so easier to use while being plugged in.
- we shall see how the battery perform with longer use. Will update if any.

Update : after using it while find only main trimmer/clipper is only good quality otherwise touch up trimmer is very poor quality not doing perfect touch up. I have use my old touch up trimmer and even scissor is not sharp even, comb is very poor quality that hurts when you try to comb.

This my 2nd wahl trimmer, Love it but only thing I realised that my first one quality is way better than this one. In this trimmer you only can do size 2,3,4,5 like that not you can add half to number by using trigger up and down. Just used once so can’t tell you about battery life exactly but I’ll update later. Overall worth buying as main trimmer is wireless so comes handy for easy specially new people who still learning how to do haircut.

Seems to work alright, have only done one cut. But the trimmer blades get so hot my husband refused to sit through the edge trimming. Used plenty of oil on it beforehand but they overheated within a couple minutes. Plugged it in thinking low battery, the same. Replaced the corded adjustable version that died with this and honestly might just go back to that model.

Needed a cordless to train my dog grooming is Ok

My bichon frise is afraid of the groomer; she is afraid of the sounds/vibrations the buzz shavers make. The vet suggested I try to get her accustomed to the sounds of buzz shavers. I have another WAHL shaver from a few years ago that I use on humans which has a cord and works great still, however it was too loud and my timid dog (who needs a small trim off the top of her fur about every 6 weeks) would cry if it got near her. Now we could use scissors to cut her hair but it would take forever. I got this set specifically for the sideburn trimmer and it is much quieter/doesn't seem to vibrate as much and my dog let me trim her ears a bit! It did an ok job. The main unit is somewhat louder but also more silent compared to my other corded one, but it also doesn't compare in "power" meaning that the corded unit is much more efficient in removing hair. Overall I give this a 5 stars because I feel this product may allow my dog to get accustomed to the sounds, etc so I can finally have her groomed without her having a doggo panic attack. The units cut hair well for the price point.

This purchase was long overdue. My previous beard trimmer died on me. Decided I wanted to replace it but I also wanted a head trimmer. This kit comes with both plus a nose/ear trimmer. Three trimmers! Plus so many attachments, combs, clips, scissors, oil, mirror, pouch, etc.

Did my beard and got a hair cut tonight. Very sharp and worked well.

I didn’t find the trimmers to be loud.

The only thing I would note is that the beard trimmer feels really light and flimsy in your hand. But, with that said, it still chopped an inch of beard off of me without a problem and very fast. Thx Wahl! I’m happy I purchased this.

Don’t Waste Your Money

While using it the machine was making odd noises, almost like the blades weren’t seated correctly. Turns out that once the machine is used, they don’t sit straight, and will move all over. the attached picture is what the blade looks like when I turned it off after hearing the strange noises.

This is now my third clipper from Wahl over the past 25 years. They’ve been progressively worse at the same price point. It isn’t going to make me shy away from them going forward, but don’t bother cheaping out like I did this time.

This clipper is money for the buck. It has tons of advantages for this price point:
1. it is cordless, so it is easier to operate (especially for home-barbers and newbies
2. It has tons of tools for this price point - scissors, guards, hair cuttin cape (though small and defected so I cannot stick it).
3. We used the clipper only once yet, but it lasted way over 1.5 hours.

Cons:
1. One or two times the clipper did not cut long and thick hair fist time (using the guard), however it did a great job in total.
2. Trimmer comes without AA batteries, so make sure to prepurchase them if you are buying this clipper set.

Overall, I recommend this hair clipper and rate it at four only for some minor imperfections Other than that, I had a payback on this purchase in just one haircut. The price is great for what the set has to offer.
