I've just opened the box to find that there's already hair in the blades and the brush is already dirty. There's also the marking that's already leaving town.

Second picture is just after using the clippers being reviewed.
Be Careful!
Do not push hard!
Keep the flat against the head!
They have very sharp edges that grab!
I felt it necessary to start with a warning as you could easily hurt your self or others using these clippers.
However, I should also be clear these clippers cut very short when used without a comb. Feels like the second day after a clean razor shave, so in that regard they deliver as advertised, no doubt.
They cut the hair very easily when used flat against the head, and didn't hurt me as far as I can tell. It took about ten minutes to shave my head as I kept having to find an angle that the clippers would glide on my head and not dig in and grab. I thought of the images I saw of people who had been scratched or hurt using these clippers.
They vibrate strongly and I had to readjust my grip a few times as they were sliding a bit. The vibes didn't affect my haircut but I was careful as I felt I had to respect this machine more than my usual clippers.
If you want a very short nearly shaved head, these work great. They are less convenient and forgiving to use as my usual clippers but they get much closer to the skin.
EDIT: I have had the clippers for a few months now, I use the oil provided after every other use and my clippers have rusted. They have never even been wet, I used them once when I was sweaty, and if that made them rust then I seriously question the quality of this product. Every thing is made in China, and honestly I'm wondering if my clippers are a knock off.
I have used a set of Phillips rechargeable clippers for years and they have zero rust, and I honestly oil them rarely. I mention this as an honest comparison. I wouldn't recommend these.

I have the Andis T-outliner and the Wahl Detailer. The Wahl Balding by far gives the closest shave. It feels like a razor shave. However it is heavy and the vibration makes handling it not easy. In addition it really irritated my skin leaving it red. The Wahl Detailer is smaller and lighter and it does give a close shave but not as close as the Wahl Balding. The Detailer also requires the blades to be replaced every few months as they lose their sharpness. The Andis does give a closer shave than the Detailer but not as close as the Wahl Balding, however replacing and aligning the new blades on it is difficult. Hope that helps.

Have been shaving my own head to the grain for the last 5 years and this is by far the best clipper I've used - worth the investment.
Up until receiving this clipper, I relied on the cheaper kits that went on sale....make the plunge if you're like me and cut your hair to the grain daily as you won't regret it. Heavy duty clipper with likely too much cord (not a bad thing for everyone). Don't listen to the reviews that state the clipper will gauge, cut or tear your scalp...I've used mine daily for almost a month...never any of the above hazards. My cheaper Con-Air on the other hand constantly ripped and gauged me which I why I decided to pony up for some quality.
I would buy one again.

At this point I've used the trimmer about 15 times on my head, always without a guard. My general feeling is that the Wahl Balding is overall a great purchase, but there are some issues that ought to be addressed to make this thing nearly perfect.
Pros:
-Provides a very close cut, not far off the shave of a razor. Far better than budget trimmers I've used
-Powers through longer (2 week in my case) stubble with zero issues
-Cord length is good for most uses. I wouldn't mind it being a foot longer but then we get into more storage issues
Cons:
-When I peeled off the plastic cover (similar to what comes on electronic screens) it also peeled off the stars with it (see picture). This gave a really awful first impression regarding quality. 2 stars.
-As most reviews state, this trimmer is NOT beginner friendly. It needs to be kept at a very shallow angle or it will bite you. It's rare that I give myself a trim without a bit of a bite somewhere on my head. My GF is too scared to use this trimmer on me.
-Trimmer is poor at getting around the ears due to the point above. It's tough to hold a shallow angle around the ears.
-The "carrying case" is instead a plastic tray (see pic). It's awful. I'm taking great clip of this clipper and it sucks to have to stick it on this unwieldy tray after using it. I've had budget Wahl trimmers that come with a carrying case.
-Provided oil container leaks and is tough to clean up... at least it leaks on the plastic carrying tray
-When I squeeze the trimmer hard I can see the top and bottom covers tighten together. It becomes much quieter when I do this. I've been unable to tighten it with a screwdriver to achieve this affect permanently. Not the best craftsmanship.
Although I've listed a lot of cons, they're relatively minor compared to the quality of cut this trimmer provides. At the end of the day I bought it to give myself a close trim and it does a great job of doing that. It's not a perfect trimmer but I'm satisfied with my purchase and I expect it to last for years to come.

I have androgenic alopecia and am using this clipper to keep my head shaved. This gives a good close shave and clean cut, probably the best I've found (without being bald like such as using the Andis). Easy to clean nd use. It is heavier than most clippers I've used and the cord is awkward and in the way but it gives the perfect close cut look. So unless you really want a clipper to shave like a razor (Andis is best) this would be the one! I took one star because its not cordless.

That Clipper wasn't what i was expected overall it took ages to come to me and as well i had a very bad experience using it. As you can see on the pictures i provided it had a bad impact on the skin and also was sort of faulty because it was making a rattling noise. The machine itself was way too heavy and difficult to hold. I do not recommend that product at all to any body. Because it took ages to arrive i missed out the period to return it and was a lot of difficulties after that with the seller at first they decline to accept it and after i provided those pics they accept it back again took way too long to get the refund back. I would like to thanks to amazon team for making this process easier for me and get my money in the end. Overall i had very bad experience with Five&Stars UK, poor product and poor costumer service. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

Brilliant clippers and NOT dangerous!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on February 5, 2021Verified Purchase
Ignore the reviews saying they are dangerous. I would guess people aren't using them correctly. They are sharp...but so are knives, use them properly and carefully.
I've been using clippers to shave my head for nearly 20 years and these are the best yet. Last pair were Wahl but cut nowhere near as close as these. I would say the stubble left is like 1/2 days growth if I wet shave my head.
They glide through my hair (fuzz).
They don't have any blade adjustment on them, which to be fair, isn't really needed.
They only come with 2 attachments but they are balding clippers, not hairdressers styling clippers.
Luckily as my last pair were wahl, all the attachments fit so I can continue to cut my beard to the length I want.
Really solid build, a bit weighty but not enough to cause problems for the time it takes to clip hair. Cord is the perfect length for my needs, i can stand and use them no problem (I'm 5ft 10).
Brilliant clippers, would recommend and buy them again.

Wolf gegen Schafspelz...
