What Happened to Me?!: Healing for Sex Trafficking Survivors Paperback – Aug. 31 2018
Enhance your purchase
This book helps educate others about a pimp, familial, and gang trafficking. It is filled with survivor stories as well as my own story of trafficking. Each story has a purpose and that is to help others, especially trafficked girls, understand what happened to them when they were trafficked. This book will help break that trauma bond as well as facilitate the healing process. This book is for sex trafficking survivors, advocates, counselors, and anyone else who wants to learn more about trafficking and what the healing process looks like for complex trauma. I believe that if each girl understood how they were forced, coerced, or manipulated into trafficking that they could break the trauma bond that was formed with their trafficker and reduce the recidivism rate of being re-exploited.

A must read for therapistReviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 16, 2019
I barely made it through the first three chapters before my emotions took over. As a counselor and rape survivor, this book has been informative, educational, and overwhelming in a good way.

This is such an amazing book. The stories are heart breaking but it’s a must read! Toni is not only a survivor but an amazing human being. I highly recommend this book, I learned so much from it. I have meetings on Sex Trafficking Awareness with a group from 15-20 people and this book has helped me a lot during our meetings. I can’t thank God enough for this amazing woman! May God continue to use her to bring more victims to recovery.

Great tool!Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 27, 2020
We use this book in our Open Door Survivor Housing program, a transitional housing program for adult survivors and their children. This continues to be a great tool for survivors and advocates to learn more and connect with. Toni continues to give of herself in many ways, this tool being available is one of them! Thank you!
