About the Author

Molly Potter taught for 11 years in middle schools as a class teacher, science and PSHE (Personal, Social, and Health Education) coordinator. She then worked for several years as an SRE (Sex and Relationships Education) Development Manager, delivering teacher training and supporting primary schools in the development of their SRE program and policy and many other aspects of PSHE. Molly now works as a teacher in a short-stay school with children that have been or are at risk from being excluded from mainstream schools -- putting much of her PSHE expertise into practice.

Review

“A fantastic look at what children worry about in every day life but put in a child friendly way that is easily understood. With superb advice all the way through and excellent illustrations... this is the perfect book for a child to be able to talk to any adult about their worries!” ―Gemma at Elgin

“The book is excellent at putting things from a child's perspective and whilst acknowledging that the fears are very real, it puts children's minds at rest with its practical approach and easily applied solutions that can be used on an on-going basis.” ―
Parents in Touch

“Bright, visually appealing and emotionally accurate, this book will help promote resilience in children; improve self-awareness and communication skills through the development of vocabulary associated with a range of moods and feelings... and would be perfect for use throughout the primary school in PSHE lessons and nurture-based intervention groups.” ―
The Reader Teacher, @MrEPrimary

“The entire book appears to have been produced with real love, care and expertise: the messages are well considered and the tone is just right for young children.” ―
Claire Ward-Dutton, Little Parachutes

“With a handy glossary of feelings and notes for parents, this book will help children talk about the issues in their lives and help them cope with their daily worries in a practical way.” ―
The Teacher Magazine
