This amazing book is for every child ( and adult ) who wakes up out of sorts and can't put their finger on why. They experience a series of negative emotions and they haven't even gotten out of bed yet. Oh my!

This book features a little guy who has lost his giggle. He spends his day trying to figure out where in the world it has gone. He goes to the circus and asks a clown what to do but receives no solution. He asks his grandpop, the local baker and even searches inside his own pocket but it is nowhere to be found. Whatever shall he do to get his giggle back?

No-giggle is not the best way to be.
I made a decision that was really quite simple.
What popped in my head
was a cure for no-giggle."

"Where'd My Giggle Go?" is a magical, natural way to converse with your kids about their negative feelings and how to deal with them. It encourages kids to reach out to others and bring them happiness and in so doing those negative feelings will dissipate and joy will fill their soul. The little boy helps others by giving them smiles, hugs, and spreading goodwill to family and even strangers wherever he can. This book inspires and offers hope for those feeling down in the dumps. I love it and highly recommend it.

Max Lucado is one of my favorite authors, mainly because he writes Christian books. My granddaughter recently lost her Daddy and I got this book to read to her in hopes that she would know that God loves her and will take care her no matter what. I don’t mean to be critical, but if you’re expecting a Christian book...God or Jesus is not mentioned anywhere in this book. I was kind of shocked. I sent it back.

I have to tell you that I LOVE this book! I read this to My 5 year old grandson. A week later he was having a awful day! He was SO grumpy, and complaining about EVERYTHING. So I told him this reminds me of that book we read. Talked about it a minute- “How can you find your giggle? “So we thought about it and he says- with a shrug - help people? Then comes over and hugs me, a big sweet hug. We both found a giggle. So today when he left I asked him “now what do we do if you loose your giggle and you get those old grumpys again?” He says with a smile- help people. Boy what a wonderful blessing this book was! And IS! So thankful especially these days. Thank you Thank you thank you! From the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. Greatest gift ever! Good lessons for us all.

With so many kids now days dividing their time between mom's house and dad's house, there are lots of little kids that lose their giggle and don't know what to do. I read this book to my 3 year old great grandson and although he sat still and listened to every word I'm not sure how much of it sank in. I think it would be a great read for kids of any age.
