On a snowy ride, Evy, Kestrel, and the horses discover they have a tag along: a starving mustang colt. They have to save him. But before they can, they discover some humans in need. A car has gone over an embankment. It seems everyone needs saving today!
Then Evy recognizes the occupants of the car: two people she'd hoped she'd never see again. How did they find her? And what do they want with her?
Unfortunately, she's about to find out... the hard way!

About the author

Thirty-four middle grade novels (some that haven't been released in English yet), a number of screenplays, audiobooks, published poetry, short stories, articles, and a non-fiction book for kids, plus editing, mentoring other authors, and now creating a novel (and maybe a new series?) for grown ups!
Throughout it all, Angela has done her best to make a positive difference in the world through encouraging others to find their personal power, whether they be her readers or the talented authors that she works with.
For years, her motto was an old Japanese proverb: “Fall down seven times, stand up eight.”
But a while ago, she switched to a new one, one she made up myself:
“Believe. Create. Inspire.”
First, believe you can do it, then create your vision, and finally, allow that creation to inspire.
