Wishful Thinking is the first book in the How To Be The Best Damn Faery Godmother In The World (Or Die Trying) series.

This is the first book I have read by Helen Harper and I had a fun time reading it. Imagine getting a promotion only to find out that you are really bait to find out who is kidnapping Faery Godmothers. Saffron is a fabulous character who takes it all in stride and works with her wacky friends to find the culprit. The author takes us into her supernatural world and wows us with an amazing read, full of fun and fantasy.

I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

This is the first in a new series and I am sure the rest will be amazing also, as this author always writes amazing faeries, I don’t know but I am afraid to admit Saffron may just be the new fave. From Dope Faery to Faery Godmother, no one else could do better. I loved how there was this whole world of different types of faeries, running around doing their jobs like everyone else, making us see boogeymen and creating rainbows and the like, what better world of thinking of people doing a regular 9-5 creating wishes and amazing things. Throw in a handsome devil and you have a story that is a wish come true.
