I love this series. And I can easily say this book, Wrenched, if my favourite of the current 5 books. It was an absolute page turner. The author made some bold decisions to change the direction of the narrative, compared to the typical cycle of the last books (which I still loved) — and each of those decisions paid off tremendously. I still think back to many of the scenes in this book, still in awe, and with joy.

Definitely will read book 6 as soon as it comes out. And will read more series by this author next. I do hope to see Matti and Sarrlevi again in a new story/series soon after the 6th book wraps up Legacy of Magic.

Sometimes I get frustrated and annoyed with some of Lindsay’s books due to inaccurate information or imo ‘silly’ thinking / decisions on the part of the hero/heroine. However not so with this series, I do think she has improved as a writer and the plot definitely has more interest for me.
She is always good at writing romance and her character development in this series I think has been very good.
This and the series that runs chronologically before this one I have enjoyed very much.
