Brazil nuts come from a tree that is grown in many parts of the Amazon, not just Brazil. They are large, in comparison to other nuts, and are often included in nut mixes. Brazil nuts are commonly eaten raw or blanched and are high in protein, fiber, selenium, thiamine, copper, and magnesium.
In addition to being the best selenium food source in the world, they provide numerous benefits for our health.
Brazil nuts contain high levels of selenium, a mineral which is known to prevent coronary disease, and various types of cancers. Brazil nuts are also high in copper, magnesium, and vitamin E. Like most nuts, Brazil nuts are also high in fiber and protein.

I bought these solely for the fact that they help the body absorb Vitamin D. Long term use of a certain medication I have to take can cause the body to not absorb Vitamin D well so I wanted a food that would help with this. I will finish these, unless the moldy taste gets worse but, will NEVER buy again.
Overall I would not order again.
Don't go overboard with Brazil nuts -- as tempting as it will be! -- because you won't want to overdose of the selenium. No more than one or two Brazil nuts should be consumed daily.
Everyone in my family has one Brazil nut everyday, so I expect this bag will last a good while. Reseal well and store in a cool, dry place to ensure freshness.
I will not hesitate to buy this again when I run out.
Afiyet olsun! Bon appétit! Enjoy! :)
