The Kingston A400 ssd is SATA3 Interface .. I think you're Lenovo has a Sata3 interface as well ..I think it will work ..the ssd has a quik seek random seek time ..but ..be aware this kingston ssd doesn't have D-ram ..its about the same boot speed as a spinning disk ..if you want it to be super fast boot time you'll need to pay more for an ssd with D-ram

If your original drive is a typical 2.5 inch unit measuring roughly 10 cm long, 7 cm wide and 1 cm tall, and uses a standard SATA interface, it should be a perfect fit.

Any SSD that are 2'5 will fit into a laptop.

For a desktop PC . . .
most people simply buy a bracket so you can screw it ( make it secure )
