How quickly does the link cable charge the headset? It's it enough to use while playing for extended periods?

Using a POWERADD Pilot X7 20000mAh Power Bank I can play Skyrim through Virtual Desktop and charge the headset. With enough battery packs I could play indefinitely. I leave the battery in my pocket.

Having the headset plugged into the computer while playing will increase battery time, but not enough to play non stop. The battery will run out. I think maybe you will double your playing time ??

The batteries last about two hours until Oculus installs a backlight dimmer feature then you should get about 2.5-3.0 hours out of a charge.

I use mine with it plugged into a charger and it lasts about 5-6 hours on a charge.

Charger recharges batteries in about 3-4 hours.

Oculus Link charges pretty quickly as far as I can tell. I have never run out of power with the cable attached, even when below ten percent.

I've been passing with it connected to a USBc port, and the battery level hasn't gone below 80%.

The battery life will increase but not by much, in my case it increases about 1 hr of play time. I recommend you use a battery pack and air link/virtual desktop for more play time.
