The instructions says you need Polysorbate 80 with your mica powder to make bath bombs.

I didn’t use a lot of the dye so I didn’t have this issue. I also used coconut oil as a partial base somaybe that made a difference. Sorry that I wasn’t more help.

It's not dye it's mica powder. It shouldn't stick to you or your bathtub unless you added way too much. It takes very little to achieve concentrated pigmentation. One little sample bag should be enough for about 25 bath bombs

You would have needed to put poly.... (something) 80 in the bath bomb recipe
