yes, it does. and make sure when you lock it again there is no one inside the room cause if you lock it they can't open the door to come out.

Yes, we need to press button to lock and unlock. These lockes are life saver. I have these locks since 4months now and my kids couldnot figure out them. The adhesive is very strong. Very easy installation. Strongly recommended.

No. You move the levers off to the side so they are never in the way when not required.

You have to press the button to move it back and forth but it’s very easy. No hassle or anything.
