Yes you can use it for a diffuser. I have use it in mind through out the winter.

I don't think so, this product is designed for aromatherapy and not internal use (I assume eating as internal use too). Moreover, the odor is really strong and different from the mint.

Pure is relative. I found this product to not be even close to pure more can they supply me with where it was farmed, what it was tested on. I've taken my business to Young Living oils where they can provide me what seed was used, where it was planted - the entire process. NOW oils are unable to do that.

Well it is an essence oil, so I don't see why not but you would not need too much of it. A few drops would be sufficient.
