if u heat it up long enough with a hair dryer and then peel off you shouldnt have issues.

Sorry can’t really answer your question as we were not happy with the product. It’s hard to ditach and re attach the strap. If you are looking for something that you can easily use or you need to access the cabinet often this product is not the right one for you.

Yes. They are pretty tricky to unlock. You have to give it allot of pressure to slide it off

Oh they're super easy to open and close. Not easy enough for a baby but you'd be able to do it without struggling. There's also larger straps by safety first that are great for larger appliances.

I ordered these for my GD and she has them on every thing that my one year old great grandson can open They have not hurt him yet
as he is at the doors all the time

I used it on melamine and formica surfaces ... I suppose it will stick to any veneer or laminate surfaces even if they are wood grain imitation. It should stick to any hard smooth materials and I would imagine that on a grainy rough surfaces the adherence would diminish somewhat... Good luck

I guess it could work for doors, but to tell you the truth, I wasn't so happy with the product. Most of them didn't stick properly.
