We use two processes, both of which are approved by Health Canada and the FDA:
Swiss Water process: This involves soaking green coffee beans in spring water. The water is then run through active charcoal filters to remove the caffeine. The beans are then put back in the water to reabsorb the lost flavour compounds it contains, but without the caffeine.
Natural solvent (ethyl acetate or methyl chloride) process: This involves soaking the beans in water baths to make them expand, then adding a solvent and heating it to extract the caffeine. The beans are then steamed to remove the solvent and dried to restore their original moisture levels.
In Canada, the regulations only allow coffee to be called “decaffeinated” if 99.9% of the caffeine has been removed. Coffee beans are always decaffeinated when they’re green—i.e., before roasting.

I'm here to compare the price here to the store I purchasedine mine at. It's the same price BTW. It says to keep the bag refrigerated and to enjoy within two weeks once the package is opened. I have the espresso, medium roast, whole bean, 340 gram.

It’s Irish Cream as the flavour indicates, there is Vanilla taste to it but if that’s what you want I would go for French Vanilla, I’m sorry I purchased Irish cream coffee not French vanilla
